At least one Buckeye close to the Jamel Turner situation (see first link) believes that he’s unlikely to graduate high school for personal reasons–let alone make it to high school.

Let’s hope that isn’t true. It would be sad.

wow, i like that article not because they put OSU ahead of OU, but rather because they’re some of the very few journalists i’ve read that actually see the bigger picture and say that hey, both of these schools are consistently getting to the BCS, which is more than you can say for LSU, Miami, ND, etc.

glad to see some journalists actually being neutral and looking at what’s happened instead of following the ESPN line that OSU sucks and the SEC >*

Honest truth… I really thought Johnson would be a tremendous player one day at OSU. To turn down a QB gig to play DB at OSU really spoke volumes as to what this kid is trying to accomplish. 6′3 with that kind of athleticism, i think we’ll see alot of him in the future, especially with the secondary situation in question. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in a chris Gamble type of role one day either.
