Ohio State Day on the Big Ten Network
Ready the DVRs because Wednesday is Ohio State Day on the BTN. The network will feature 24 hours of Buckeye-related programming including replays of the basketball overtime thriller against Indiana from 1993, the comeback win over Iowa in football from 1990, a Dave Revsine chat with Jerry Lucas and the 1974 Michigan game among others.

also jerry lucas is from my home town, i live a couple of blocks away from the b-ball court where he played all the time as a kid

As much as the 1974 game against scUM was entertaining, I wish they would’ve selected the 2006 game instead. All in all, a great day of OSU classics is in store for Wednesday.
You know, it’s funny you say that because my Dad (born and raised in Ohio, lifelong Buckeye fan) called me a couple of weeks ago to say he watched that on BTN. I think his exact words were, “That game sucked!” Apparently he doesn’t find a game that went run-run-run-punt on every series to have a lot of rewatchability.
That said, I wish I had not canceled my BTN…I’d be glued to the TV.
