I still can’t believe some people are rooting for tebow. If he wins the Heisman Trophy then it’s clear it has become a popularity contest and an MVP award, it’s no longer the best player. He’s good, but he’s not the best which is what this is all about.

LIC’s 12-15 arm punts per game is not going to garner many Heismann votes. He is the 3rd or 4th best QB in the Big 10 for Gods sake.

Well, if you’re going to be a follower of Tebow’s Gospel, that’s your perrogative, Big Buck Hunter. Since no one can argue “faith” your assertions are essentially meaningless. I can criticize Tebow’s interpretation as much as I want. If he wore Scarlet and Gray? No, it bothered the shit out of me when Troy said those things, too.

If you want to wear your faith on your sleeve, you’re bound to get it wrong. If you want to wear your faith on your sleeve IN THE PUBLIC EYE, then it’s open season.

You wrote this: “He was in the heat of battle. Tebow is a follower of God….” I don’t think there’s a better example of the glaring contradiction to which I’m referring.

I’ve got super dark horse, Jake Locker, winning the Heisman with an 8-4 turnaround season. And keeping with Washington football, I see Nick Montana is a Husky. Damn it!

Miller will step in as a true freshman and play. I wouldn’t be shocked if TP goes pro after his Jr year. His passing is already improving faster then most thought it would. He’ll be better then Vince young when its all over, and that is saying alot.

I cant see us getting a QB of any high rating, seeing as how LIC is back at least for 2010 and most likely 2011. Also, Braxton Miller already has an offer.

I reluctantly agree, everyone ragged on Vince Young just recently for saying “them guys”, more importantly QB is a cerebral position and how you articulate can affect how some people view you. I think your play should do the talking.

IF we go undefeated, and LIC throws for 2,000 and runs for 1,000, with a high rating and comp. percentage, with about 25 td’s to 5 int’s, then he may have a shot. I just think the Heisman is about popularity and not what it is SUPPOSED to be, the award for BEST cfb player.
