Not to trivialize cancer by paraphrasing the great Kenneth Powers, but yeah, it does kind of suck. Just about everyone in America is or has been impacted by the deadly disease and if you haven't been, odds are you're young enough not to have felt it in some way or another yet. Lucky you.
But there's good news! Immediately following the Ohio State Spring Game, Alpha Epsilon Pi (of which our very own Alex is a member) will be hosting Football Frenzy with proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.
The event will take place on the grass and turf fields adjacent to the stadium and will feature 20 booths showcasing various skill games such as a punt-pass-kick challenge, football trivia and the 40-yard dash (can you top Doc Saturday's 6.03 seconds of Pale Fail?).
There will also be raffles, including one for an autographed Ginn/Smith helmet that would make a fine addition to any man cave worth its salt, t-shirts and word on the streets is that Corey might be manning a kissing booth (prepare yourselves accordingly, ladies).

Guys this event is the first of what we hope will be a yearly success for a great cause. Should be a good time and food, game, and raffle tix only cost a buck each so its affordable and all your money goes to a good cause. Plus there might be some cool 11W stuff handed out and flyers for our social afterwards.

Okay, so if that is such a close call (Tressel has a long way to go before he passes Hayes), Deinhart is implying that such luminaries as Mike Riley of Oregon State, Brian Kelly of Cinci, and Jim Grobe of Wake Forest are therefore necessarily better coaches than not only Jim Tressel, but potentially Woody Hayes and Paul Brown.
That is the most blatant move I have ever seen to antagonize a fanbase and increase his readership. You know what else would draw a crowd? A golfer with an arm growing out of his ass. This man is ruining the game of sports journalism. I saw two big fat naked bikers have sex off of the 16th green. How am I supposed to read sports, with that going on?
Hayes is in the top 5 coaches of all time. Of all time. None of the people on that list, with the exception of Joe Pa, come close to him.

loves ferentz for winning big with little talent...and then ranks a dude who wins bigger with similarly little talent lower (mike leach). further on leach, dienhart ranks richrod way above him while they have equally influential and innovative offensive schemes, been coaching as long, and have pretty similar winning percentages.
i think i get the rankings now - its not based on how much you win, the talent you have, or your ingenuity. its based on how much....uh, well, i guess, how much dienhart likes you as a person?!
PS - his commentary on stoops in comparison to petey is hilarious. so, if winning BCS titles is so important to dienhart...why is Big Game Bob ranked higher? the internets throw around the word 'idiot' a lot but i think in this case it is well deserved.
