In seven months, I'll hurl at the sight of them, but for one night, the USC marching band was part of something special. 32 members of the band joined Radiohead on stage at the Grammy awards to perform a version of the band's "15 Step". The result: something pretty fresh. Or in the words of Entertainment Weekly, the "best Grammy performance ever". Um... okay..
Not being one that tunes into award shows, I didn't catch this live, but heard all about it and finally tracked down the video:

The performance was just ok. USC is in for a good ole' fashion ASS WHIPPING on 9/12. Time for the Sweater Vest to win a big game. It's been nearly 3 years.
That performance of 15 Step was epic. It was a passing of the torch. They should have won album of the year.
I prefer their performance in "The Naked Gun."

Definitely a band you either love or hate, but I enjoy them (though I think their best stuff is on the Bends and OK Computer).
thats for damn sure...one of the best bands out there and best live shows as well.
