  4. PALM BEACH BUCKEYE says:

It’s 7:45 am…. I am at work till 11am (off the clock cash)……… home by 1130——- me, junk food, beer and the game!! Doesn’t get any better!!!

Thank G-D for the internet….. I am listening to 1460 the fan pregame out of Columbus!

  5. Greyrider says:

Been up since 4. Just popped the first BL.
    Piss on michigan.

  6. Michigan buckeye says:

Sitting in a coffee shop in the state up north. The consensus up here….. Michigan SUCKS!

  7. Mike from the 717 says:

Still drunk from last night….lets go and get these fuckers

  8. gobuck12 says:

second the still drunk from last night, lets go MICHIGAN…….STATE!

  9. Tom Blogical says:

Varmint Cong. Hey Wolverines! You’re varmints. You’re one of the lowest members of the food chain and you’ll probably be replaced by the rat. I guess we’re playing for keeps now. I guess the kidding around is pretty much over. I guess it’s just a matter of pumping about five thousand gallons of Beanie down your throats to teach you a little bit of a lesson. Is that it? I think it is!

  10. Robb says:

It is 8:37am central time. I am getting ready to head to the Ohio State Alumni Club of Greater Kansas City. Then we will cheer the Bucks on in THE Game.

  11. Joe Fox says:

0943, and I’m ready to go. Even my fat rear end can’t eat due to excitement.

Let’s hope the boys feel the same way. Go Bucks!!!

    (Lord, am I nervous.)

  12. Dave K says:

it’;s 6:50 pacific and i have been up for maybe half an hour…. and michigan STILL sucks! oihwefjhfkencxljkhwefndsjkchxznsdkjf!!!@#@!@”#$%%%

sorry, had to get that outta my system

  13. Nik says:

10:57 Atlantic Time, just 2 more hours!!!

  14. BuckeyeChief07 says:

been up since 0630 in Virginia Beach…listening to 1460, putting on the grill in 5…4…3…2…1

    O H

  15. Steve says:

It’s 7:00 AM in Seattle, I’m still a little drunk from last night, my head is pounding from the northwest beers I was drinking….FUKC MICHIGAN!!!

  16. blazers says:

Ready to Rock boys!!!!! Just went through a tour of my favorite buckeye youtubes (Cie Grant is #1). Now listening to 1460 online. Heading to a Michigan fans house to watch the game, and should be a GREAT DAY!

  17. PG says:

    1,000,000-0 Buckeyes.

    Ok, where’s my t-shirt?

  18. flipbuckeye says:

Everytime I watch that video of Cie Grant singing Carmen Ohio it almost brings a tear to my eye.

  19. blazers says:

I love TP (obviously), but I would love it if Boeckman threw a TD pass

  20. Rob says:

There’s a Buckeye’s fan with a great sign on the secondary stage of Gameday at OU. Nice!

  21. Rob says:

Did they send the Michigan Tech team in their place?

  22. buckeyedude says:

Common Buckeyes! I have a bet with a Crapperines fan at work. OSU must beat UM by AT LEAST 13 points for me to win my bet. I think I’m safe!

  23. C says:

I love drinking beer in the morning. Let’s go Bucks!

  24. BuckeyeChief07 says:

    O H

  25. Anonymous says:

    I-O!!!

  26. corey says:

let’s go bucks, went and tailgated. The place was buzzing

  27. Jason says:

Loved the midfield tussle. Buckeyes are going to be ready to lay some wood.

  28. japanbuck says:

It’s 2.07am, I’m floating in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, and M——n still sucks!

    Let’s do this.

  29. Chris says:

    Let’s do this dance!

P.S. Who at ABC thinks Paul McGuire adds value to a broadcast?

  30. Jason says:

    Great throw and catch.

  31. Jason says:

    Spoke too soon.

  32. flipbuckeye says:

    Bad throw great catch.

  33. Jason says:

Nader will not allow a touchdown.

  34. flipbuckeye says:

Was that a draw for Sheridan? Really?

  35. Jason says:

Nice stand. And Animal got to plant Sheridan on the play.

  36. japanbuck says:

Big hit…love to see the punishment from off the edge.

  37. flipbuckeye says:

    LOL, shutout in tact.

  38. Chris says:

I love the blitz off the edge on 3rd and 15…force sheridan into quick decisions and he will fail.

  39. flipbuckeye says:

With Sheridan at QB we could probably get away with blitzing every single time.

  40. vico says:

Our offensive line isn’t helping things early in this game.

  41. Chris says:

    stewart would never play again

  42. Jason says:

They have a decent defensive front and they’re going to come out fired up.

Tressel is thinking that he just needs to flip the field and then let his defense go to work.

  43. vico says:

    wooo-hoo!!

  44. Jason says:

The most important play in football, ladies and gentleman.

And geez is this Wolverine team pretty terrible.

  45. japanbuck says:

Nice way to flip the field.

  46. flipbuckeye says:

    Right on cue, Michigan.

  47. poguemahone says:

This Michigan team isn’t giving us our bread and butter plays. So far. Not a good start

  48. Rob says:

    fumble u!

  49. flipbuckeye says:

Pryor looking like a freshman so far. That INT is probably in his head. No zip on the ball.

  50. Jason says:

Once Pryor settles down this is over.

  51. flipbuckeye says:

Well at least we have field position.

  52. corey says:

Michigan is going to bring the blitz all day, the Oline and TP better start stepping up.

  53. poguemahone says:

Offensive line can’t get it up for The Game. Shouldn’t suprise us, given the last four monumental games we’ve had

  54. poguemahone says:

I’d be a lot more worried if Michigan fielded a competent offense. And Hartline is crazy.

  55. flipbuckeye says:

Okay let’s never try diving for a punt again.

  56. Chris says:

at least he flashed effort for a change…but yeah, no more diving for punts.

  57. japanbuck says:

OSU O-line has to start imposing its will. The sooner the run can get established, the sooner Pryor will settle down.

  58. poguemahone says:

Michigan’s going to be blitzing all day, as mentioned earlier. Time for some screens or anything aside from run run pass punt

  59. flipbuckeye says:

Run run pass, wow what a shocking turn of events.

  60. poguemahone says:

    Pryor is wearing blinders.

  61. Jason says:

At least he held on to the ball.

  62. Olentangy says:

That was pathetic, can we sub in some new o linemen?

  63. poguemahone says:

Michigan would be winning decisively if they fielded a good offense.

The “who am I” is Tom Brady

  64. flipbuckeye says:

How about some playcalling adjustments? They’re stacking the box everytime and we’re still trying to attack it.

  65. poguemahone says:

Just in case you guys didn’t know, Thaddeus Gibson eats the babies of QBs

  66. flipbuckeye says:

This isn’t good defense, Brad Nessler. This is bad offense.

  67. flipbuckeye says:

Wow, Ray Small in the game.

  68. japanbuck says:

How do you rush two and still get the sack? Wow they suck.

Just hope the OSU O can finally wake up.

  69. Jason says:

    Beanie’s Yearly Special.

  70. poguemahone says:

I love Beanie Wells. And yes, it’s totally gay. I’m not ashamed in any sense of the word.

  71. Chris says:

    Boom goes the dynamite.

  72. japanbuck says:

Now THAT’s what I mean by getting Beanie into the game.

    Here we go!

  73. Jason says:

That’s the risk with blitzing every down.

  74. Jason says:

    Is McGuffie dead?

  75. flipbuckeye says:

Holy crap… I wonder if McGuffie regrets coming back.

  76. Chris says:

that hit should be enough to make McGuffie transfer

  77. poguemahone says:

Don’t taunt McGuffie, kids. He’ll float all over you.

  78. Jason says:

Oh, how I do enjoy these Michigan 3rd and longs.

  79. poguemahone says:

The defensive line has definitely shown up, critical against the read-option

  80. flipbuckeye says:

I want to see him try to leap the Neck.

  81. Sammie Byrne says:

so far, the O-line has played out of cat, which I assume is the opposite of out of hound.
but at least cordel and reiring had good blocks on beanie’s td run.

  82. flipbuckeye says:

Sammie Byrne, YUR DOIN IT RONG.

  83. japanbuck says:

I’m not gonna lie. I LOVE seeing U-M struggle. It’s just nice to see them put where they belong.

Cris Carter on the sideline…very nice!

  84. Jason says:

With the defense playing so well, Evil Tressel would call a play-action bomb.

  85. poguemahone says:

Rehring found his helmet, did you see Herron screaming “NO STEVE THAT’S NOT AN ODDLY-SHAPED HESHEY’S KISS YOU FAT MOTHERF- oh thanks never mind”

  86. flipbuckeye says:

Not with the way Pryor’s been chucking them up.

  87. corey says:

We could see 80 straight handoffs the rest of this game.

  88. Jason says:

    I fear you’re right, Corey.

  89. poguemahone says:

My god, we picked up a blitz AND completed a pass. How did the Shoe not cave in?

  90. Jason says:

Word is McGuffie is crying on the sideline.

  91. Jason says:

    Beautiful.

  92. poguemahone says:

Somewhere, Andre Ware is saying we’re running up the score.

  93. japanbuck says:

BEAUTIFUL throw. I don’t think I’ve seen a better long throw and catch in many many years out of an OSU QB.

  94. flipbuckeye says:

    japanbuck… Troy Smith to 7-11???

  95. Jason says:

Yes, Ware is completely pissed right now.

  96. poguemahone says:

Odoms, given a good offensive line, will be good too. Not Pryor good, but still a dangerous weapon.

  97. japanbuck says:

Troy to 7-11 was solid too, but this was about a 50 yard throw on a line and in absolutely perfect stride.

We’ve been complaining that he’s been putting too much air under the ball, kinda like TB did, but he’s not doing that today.

  98. Jason says:

Yeah, I have a feeling that Jenkins was telling him to hurry up and get good because the rivalry needs that.

  99. poguemahone says:

Japan = well, he was earlier, but not anymore. And my God, tOSU punters like to live more dangerously than James freaking Bond.

  100. Anonymous says:

pryor also took a hit when making that throw. probably his best of the year.

  101. Jason says:

Are Dantonio and Snyder the only two former Tressel assistants with head jobs now?

Anyone else catch the ESPN feature on the Pirate this morning? Leach is Stooops’ 5th former assistant with a head job, the most of any active coach.

  102. poguemahone says:

    not punters, punt returners.

  103. poguemahone says:

Beanie needs a breather after being the entire offense, OSU fantards calling him soft in 3….2…..1

  104. flipbuckeye says:

So anyone wanna guess if/when Boeckman sees the field?

  105. Jason says:

I think if we are up 20 or more at the half, he may start the 3rd.

  106. poguemahone says:

Start of 2nd half if we keep up this pace.

  107. Jason says:

Nobody @ ABC knows hot to flip an image horizontally?

  108. Chris says:

No, but they know how to work the telestrator, apparently.

  109. poguemahone says:

If we go for this, evil Jim Tressel, with his cape-sweatervest combo and nefarious goatee, will be making an appearance.

  110. Jason says:

    Ah.. good no call.

  111. japanbuck says:

How was that NOT pass interference?

Robo still should have made that catch though.

  112. flipbuckeye says:

    Aw that should’ve been caught.

  113. flipbuckeye says:

It looks like Robiskie initiated the contact.

  114. Jason says:

This must feel like the ones going against the twos in practice for the defense.

  115. Jason says:

Dirty spot.. that 1st down streak is important!

  116. poguemahone says:

    What an awful spot.

  117. flipbuckeye says:

    RichRod goes for it.

  118. flipbuckeye says:

Two first downs on the same drive… unacceptable!

  119. Jason says:

If they score, I’m going to be depressed.

  120. flipbuckeye says:

    This is disappointing.

  121. poguemahone says:

Time to be depressed Jason. Defense has disappeared.

  122. Anonymous says:

they have like two running plays

  123. Rob says:

let’s let them back in game!

  124. Jason says:

INT!! INT!! Oh, please, please, INT!!

  125. poguemahone says:

Defense looked better, but I’m worried again. Offense needs to score before the half.

  126. japanbuck says:

They stuck to that base offense and it eventually worked. Unfortunately.

If RR can ever get the folks he wants, U-M could be good again. I’m not one of those who think U-M will be bad for a long time with RR, especially with the offenses he has had in the past. Thuggish and classless, maybe, but not bad.

  127. flipbuckeye says:

    Hopefully Pryor’s nerves has settled.

  128. Jason says:

    Great series.

  129. poguemahone says:

Hey, remember when we had momentum? Wasn’t that grand?

  130. Chris says:

Wow. Glad to see we came out fired up to score before the half.

  131. flipbuckeye says:

Again another shitty effort at the end of the first half. If you’re gonna run then at least let some time go by. Didn’t they learn from last week????!?!

  132. Anonymous says:

line can’t block forever. he needs to get rid of it.

  133. poguemahone says:

That wasn’t all on the line. Come on defense.

  134. poguemahone says:

When this offense is talented, we’re going to have a lot of trouble stopping it if Heacock lingers for a few years.

  135. Jason says:

Took away Nick’s bubble and he made a good progression.

  136. flipbuckeye says:

    This is pathetic.

  137. Rob says:

    blitz!

  138. Jason says:

pogue, he is a great coach.

  139. Jason says:

I think Ness just said if you take away our touchdowns, they’d be winning.

  140. flipbuckeye says:

Classic Nessler. Thank goodness Bob Griese isn’t too talkative today.

  141. iball says:

    Heacock is a PUSSY

  142. iball says:

Anyone smell that? I think its the o-line. If they think they’ll win a bowl with that blocking, they’re fucking kidding.

  143. iball says:

Michigan could be good again, problem is that offense has a small margin for error.

  144. flipbuckeye says:

Are they playing two hand touch out there?

  145. poguemahone says:

Boy, Michigan isn’t even breaking a sweat here. What’s happened?

  146. Jason says:

Getting a little too close for comfort and giving some of their young guys confidence for next season.

  147. poguemahone says:

A score here takes the wind out of Michigan’s sails. Tressel realizes it, but will he call plays to actually get it done? We shall see.

  148. poguemahone says:

Uh, Beanie nearly took that 90 yards.

  149. flipbuckeye says:

    Finally. A first down.

  150. Jason says:

This is probably the last time we’re going to see Beanie in the Shoe. But Herron looks like he’s coming along nicely.

  151. poguemahone says:

Okay, we have the mo back, please don’t shoot ourselves in the foot. HERRON YOU SEXY SEXY BEAST I LOVE YOU TOO SCHNOOKUMS

  152. Jason says:

Give the offensive line some credit for coming out and making some changes.

  153. poguemahone says:

Jason – agreed. They’ve come out with a fire I haven’t seen all season.

  154. japanbuck says:

I think Boom’s going to be ok.

That was awesome. Good blocking on the left side to blow those two plays wide open.

  155. poguemahone says:

Why doesn’t Stacey Dales just replace Paul Maguire? This crew would be thrice as watchable.

  156. Olentangy says:

    That was a garbage call

  157. poguemahone says:

I’m gonna miss MJ so damn much.

  158. Jason says:

Yeah, Jenkins has had a huge year.

  159. Rob says:

This is the pit away drive!

  160. poguemahone says:

Probably one of the best plays of his career. Someone described him as just a notch under Champ Bailey in those draft articles you linked, and really, I think he’ll be just as good. Guy hasn’t blown a coverage (that I can recall) since Wisky last year.

  161. flipbuckeye says:

One more score and we can go back to prevent and let them back in the game!

  162. Jason says:

I love the fact that he was also a little under the radar coming out of HS.

    Too soon for Boeckman?

  163. poguemahone says:

lol flip. You’re destroying my post-touchdown optimism for touchdowns that haven’t even occured yet.

  164. poguemahone says:

Crap, Beanie limped off. Please be okay, bowl break or not.

  165. poguemahone says:

    Blood on his sock. Shitballs.

  166. poguemahone says:

Jesus, how are we letting guys get this wide open?!

  167. Rob says:

Let’s finish them with pick 6

  168. flipbuckeye says:

Thank you for that brilliant call, RichRod.

  169. poguemahone says:

    Sheridan’s hurt, David CONEBONE TIME!

  170. flipbuckeye says:

    Nice job Small!!

  171. japanbuck says:

Terrific return for Small! I’ve been hoping for him to get loose for a big one after all the stuff he’s been through.

    TD ROBO!

  172. Jason says:

    Way to finish.

  173. poguemahone says:

Touchdown to Robiskie after a beastly return by Small. Way to go out, flyin’ Brian number one!

  174. flipbuckeye says:

I was about to ask about Feagin. Odd that it took a Sheridan injury.

  175. Jason says:

    I like that call.

  176. Rob says:

    Pryor is having fun!

  177. japanbuck says:

    Uh…wow?

  178. Jason says:

    I think that’s called “clowning”.

  179. Rob says:

    holy sanzenbacher!

  180. flipbuckeye says:

And I thought OSU’s tackling was bad.

  181. japanbuck says:

I’d like to see a Pryor TD run here and then TB for the rest of the game.

  182. JeffBucks says:

This is a great game so far.

  183. poguemahone says:

Oh crap. That might be a pick.

  184. Jason says:

    I’ll take that.

  185. Jason says:

It’s almost like we break new running backs in by putting them into a position to go off against Michigan. Pitt, Beanie and now Boom.

  186. japanbuck says:

This is SOOO worth getting at 2am for! Too bad I can’t actually go celebrate.

  187. flipbuckeye says:

Alright, Michigan. Punt the ball and force a safety on us and that program cover is MINE!

  188. poguemahone says:

Alright, I’m headed to Mongolian Barbecue. Later, Gents

  189. Jason says:

    See ya, pogue.

  190. vico says:

Up 4 touchdowns in the 4th quarter is nice, but I want MORE.

  191. Jason says:

TB needs to air it out a little.

  192. iball says:

Is there any report on McGuffie? OOOOOps gonna be 42-7. here comes Toddy boy.

  193. flipbuckeye says:

Let’s get an ovation for the Todd.

  194. iball says:

    RASTA!!! Pass the dutchie!!!!!!!!

  195. japanbuck says:

Good to see Rasta still has it.

  196. vico says:

one more for the road for The Todd. What a great day.

  197. japanbuck says:

    O HELL YES!!!!

    I want more…

  198. Rob says:

    Wooooooooooo!

  199. poguemahone says:

HELL YEA TODD, THAT’S MAH BOY!

  200. flipbuckeye says:

That was Jenkins, not TP, Brad.

  201. Jason says:

    Meanwhile…

MGoBlog shut down their live chat and Brian was promising at one point to do away with them. May their offseason be long and suffering.

    http://mgoblog.com/content/ohio-state-open-thread-2

  202. Rob says:

our honor defend guy got camera time!

  203. Olentangy says:

Will Tressel go for 2 if we score again?

  204. flipbuckeye says:

Poor UM fans. Boeckman throws a TD, Brian@Mgoblog: “See ya next week” *shuts down liveblog*

  205. flipbuckeye says:

I can’t believe we let them score 7.

  206. Jason says:

Yeah, it is kind of frustrating in hindsight.

  207. Jason says:

    DIE GRIESE!

  208. poguemahone says:

Griese on the Boeckman bandwagon for reasons no one understands.

  209. Jason says:

When exactly have we needed that this year?

  210. Jason says:

Ahem.. he has thrown two nice balls today.

  211. flipbuckeye says:

    YEAH TB to ROBO!

  212. poguemahone says:

We have confirmed evil Tressel sighting. Boeckman with the pretty pass.

  213. Olentangy says:

What a piece of S*** Bob Griese is..I guess starting Pryor didn’t work out so well, only a Big 10 co championship. What an idiot.

  214. flipbuckeye says:

    Stuff it Bobbo.

  215. Rob says:

    Lane!

  216. japanbuck says:

Safety anyone? The D needs some points today.

  217. Jason says:

    HIGHWAY ROBBERY

  218. flipbuckeye says:

Even if his feet are in the endzone? Bleh.

  219. japanbuck says:

Did I just see Purdue hanging 62 on IU? Holy god…

  220. flipbuckeye says:

    Good for Joe Tiller.

  221. vico says:

I loved the attitude on Williams, even if it wasn’t ruled a safety.

You know gentleman. Today, is a great day.

  222. flipbuckeye says:

    Less Rasta, more deep bombs!

  223. iball says:

How does everyone figure UM to be better next year with all the new players coming in? They will be in their first year learning the system like these guys this year.

  224. vico says:

    JB Shugarts sighting.

  225. flipbuckeye says:

Next year’s newbies fit RichRod’s system. Threet, Sheridan, Minor, Grady… not so much.

  226. japanbuck says:

You would think the announcers would have done their homework on the gold pants things. But then again…these guys just suck.

  227. iball says:

This just in: Jim Tesssels head swiveled 360 degrees and he started chanting something in Latin.

  228. vico says:

    Andrew Sweat (on defense) sighting.

  229. flipbuckeye says:

Play action deep bomb!!! You know you wanna call it Tressel!!!

  230. japanbuck says:

Well gents, it’s been a great Sunday morning. I’m going back to bed; long day ahead; GO BUCKS!

  231. vico says:

Marcus Williams sighting. Boy we really are emptying the benches for this one.

  232. Rob says:

    Like the way 24 runs!

  233. vico says:

If my preliminary math is correct, this is the second biggest margin of victory for the Bucks in the series rivalry, correct? Missed the 1968 mark by one point.

  234. flipbuckeye says:

That was a tough 42-7 victory huh coach?

  235. vico says:

    err, forgot about 1935. Whoops.

  236. Jason says:

    Let’s go Sparty.

  237. iball says:

    Go Green!!! Go White!!!!

  238. bup bup bup says:

ha haaaaaa one point off in my prediction, holla

  239. Jason says:

    bup, were you closest?

  240. Rob says:

ESPN post-game commentators are dicks! Couldn’t give us any respect! Had to say ” Not sold on TP as passer” instead.

  241. bup bup bup says:

    “bup, were you closest?”

i think so unless i missed a dude who got it exact, one point away from a free framing apparently? damn

  242. BuckeyeChief07 says:

    YES!!!

ALL YOU YOUNG GUYS, REMEMBER THIS WELL. I GREW UP WITH BUCKEYE TEAMS LOSING 5 IN A ROW. NEVER WOULD I THINK THIS WOULD EVER HAPPEN, 5 IN A ROW!!!!!

  243. Jason says:

Cool, I just sent you an email.

  244. bup bup bup says:

    thanks jason

  245. Rob says:

    Great game! Great season!

  246. Dave K says:

    RIVALRY FAIL!!!!!!!!! 5-peat scUMbags!!!

I’m in the same boat as Chief here, it’s a great time to be a BUCKEYE!!!

  247. BlockO says:

It’s good day to be a buckeye! F_U Michigan and DickRod…

    O….H

  248. Rob says:

Holy Happy Valley! It looked just like today looks the only time I was ever there.

  249. vico says:

Considering the 1990s… and the course of this rivalry before Francis Schmidt came to town (1897-1934: 22-6-2 Wolvereenies), those bastards will get no sympathy from me for the way the 2000s have unfolded.

  250. BuckeyeChief07 says:

    I O!!!

  251. tampa buckeye says:

Five straight is great. Thats seven of the last 8. Don’t see it getting better up there anytime soon. The seniors were yelling at the staff. Its a joke and we need to keep pounding them.

  252. vico says:

Cal Poly is beating Wisconsin 13-7 with 5 left in the 2nd quarter. Wait… what?

  253. Tom Blogical says:

Thoroughly enjoyable. We should’ve gone for 2 on every TD, though.

  254. vico says:

20-7 Cal Poly with a minute left in the first half. Bret Bielema is going to run that program into the ground.

  255. Chaoscrusader says:

    Some Final Thoughts:

O-line: Shaky, especially at the beginning. The play calling with a couple counters helped.

T Pryor: Welcome to the rivalry, you have been blessed by god with your natural talent; in addition, you have the self discipline to be a great one. You will find out your greatest enemy will be you and your emotions. If you can emotionally separate yourself when it matters most you will rise above the fray, see the field, and how the defense will try to attack you and their inherent weaknesses. Right now, you were rattled early with the pick; your foot work, ability to anticipate, feeling the rush, and knowing when to throw the ball away was inconsistent. It wil come, but you will have to work on it.

Boeckman: If Beanie was healthy and the line played more consistent throughout the year. You did well with the time you had today. However, watching the game, Coach’s call was the right one to go with Pryor.

Defense: Well played, the only time you were exposed was when scUM ran weak side counter towards the short side. T-Gibson went hard up field and the tackle could not close the gap.

  256. Tom Blogical says:

    Michigan State suuuuuuuuuuucks.

  257. El Caballo de Sangre says:

Anybody else seen the AP article? Wherein Minor is quoted thusly: “You can’t really blame Rich Rod because everybody on the team did not buy in like they’re supposed to. We have a couple of guys not going hard. We’ll correct that most definitely. That ain’t going to happen on my watch as a senior.”

How is this possible? What about EEEEEE BARWIS? Weren’t the Wolverines who survived the crucible of the off-season supposed to have unquestionable attitude and committment? “Those Who Stay Will Be Champions” and all that?

This is a very sick program. 3-9 is only a symptom. More in a sec…

  258. vico says:

I think Wisconsin is going to lose against Cal Poly. They just scored after their second consecutive 15+ play drive to take an 8pt lead (missed the XP). Cal Poly has 242 rushing yards and is dominating time of possession (36:41 – 15:07).

  259. buckwild says:

Ohio State is the best team in the big ten. PSU got lucky earlier this year. BUt we are not ready for for big boy football, yet. Maybe in a few years but not this year. FL or TTU would destroy us this year and thats ok. Next year or 2010 we will be ready for nation wide dominance. I am the biggest BUCKEYE homer but I also am able to think rationally.

  260. El Caballo de Sangre says:

    SYRACUSE 24
    NOTRE DAME 23

Weis 6-5 this season, 28-20 in four years, w/ USC next week…

  261. El Caballo de Sangre says:

The Blue-Gray Sky’s game thread is pretty hilarious

  262. Tom Blogical says:

Where’s Blue Man and The Truth? Shouldn’t they be around here talking smack about their record prior to WWI?

  263. buckeyedude says:

I don’t understand the venom for Bob Griese. I met him in 1978, and he seemed like a very nice man. Maybe he is just trying to give a little love to the senior QB, TB.

I love the “5 wins in a row” and hope for the start of 5 more in a row, starting next year!

  264. Palm Beach Buckeye says:

oh Blue Balls, where are you……

OSU knocked out your great white hope,,,,, McGuffie

  265. Truth says:

Congratulations on kicking a cripple’s ass!

What, you guys didn’t want to take our cane and shove it up our ass by scoring 60? Look. Listen. Michigan sucks this year. Period. Congrats on joining eight other teams [including Toledo] who kicked our ass.

You saw our players on offense…What in the hell would you do with them? Seriously…think about this for one second. How would you compete with that O-line and back up, back up, back up, walk-on quarterback?

R.R. is a good coach who will get the job done [2010 we compete for the big ten title] Give him three recruiting class’s and then we can talk about if this was a good hire [and yes, it was!]

Michigan will be fine…Enjoy your bowl game.

Try to win it this time and make the Big Ten proud!

  266. TLB says:

Why would that dude come on here? I hope you keep that jackass coach around until 2010.

  267. DeidBucksFan says:

Damn that other OSU winning and possibly sucking up the only at-large spot left. I’ll be a HUGE Ducks fan next week for sure. If that fails though time to get some SEC revenge in the Cap1 bowl. What a great day to be a buckeye!! I can honestly say that today when I saw “Dreads” enter the game and KNEW a dive up the middle was coming for no gain I was giddy. After 4 yrs of seeing thaplay and knowing it would fail, today i was happy to see it. GO BUCKS!!

  268. J.B. says:

Truth…I could easily fix it! Adjust the way I run my O to the players I have to use and tell Mallett he’s the best thing since sliced bread. Thats an easy handful of wins and a trip to a bowl game.

  269. Tom Blogical says:

Yeah, we’ll enjoy 5 in a row. 7-1 in the Tressel era. 8 of the last 11, and that OSU is 30-26-2 in the last 58 years. We’ll enjoy that a lot, thanks. :-)
