Haha! That is the look of a man in over his head. I don't enjoy Michigan being so terrible because it hurts the entire conference, but it is damned hilarious to see such an uppity group of fans have to sit there and take the abuse.
Rich Rod's face has that constipated look, only if he could squirt out a loaf in his depends, it would be one of the most productive things his offense created all day. The most offensive thing about scUM is their offense.
DickRod is in way over his West Virginia head and I think he is starting to realize that... I'll bet he wishes he took the Alabama job a few years ago.....
I've got to hand it to you in one area. Our little faceoff in 2006 notwithstanding, I have a lot of respect for the level of excellence (or, at the very least, level of "really freaking good") Ohio State's football program has maintained.
One look at Michigan and you see a program which has at least several years to climb back to relevance. I'm sorry, that team wasn't very talented, but the should have won at least 5 games. 3-9 is an indictment of RichRod.
I've lost a lot of respect for the way he's conducted himself these last 11 months. I was ambivalent about him before, and even considered him a "hot coaching prospect" but now his star has faded to a dull brown. Between telling fans to "get a life", mass player defections, awful on-the-field-performance and terrible handling of the job transition, I think the general public has lost a lot of respect as well. He could well drag Michigan down.
Meanwhile Ohio State goes on without missing a beat, winning double-digit games per season and winning Big 10 championships (or at least a portion of them.) Tressel's decision to start Pryor after the USC debacle shows that this program can learn from its mistakes and make aggressive moves. Pryor is a future Heisman candidate and certainly made the right choice when he decided to wear scarlet and gray over maize and blue.
So this is a long-winded way of paying a compliment while also insulting Ohio State's blood rival. I thought you'd enjoy that.
Much respect, GP. Shocking to hear those comments from a fan of an SEC team. Definitely a change from the hate-spewing egocentric ignorance I'm used to hearing, not only from SEC fans, but fans of all conferences including the B10. Of course, we can all just get together and laugh at Michigan.
I keep saying it.... DickRod is a one-hit wonder and he achieved success with Pat White and Steve Slaton.... never did much to speak of anywhere else and against much lesser competition-- this is not the Big Least.... the worst Big - 11 program is better than a mid level Big-least program (Indiana)
Here is a little nugget from one of your own that I recalled reading a few weeks ago...just thought I'd try to curb some of the unrepentant put-downs and bashing that tend to follow a win.
Man, I’m reading the Penn State blogs—-are we that annoying when we win a big game? Where’s the grace? Where’s the whole, “act like you’ve been there before?” Either it’s been a long time since PSU has had something to gloat over, or that attitude is just endemic to the winner. If that’s the case, I’m going to check myself next time we pull out a big win. Pride doth go before the fall.
1) We at least showed up and played, if not for one errant spot and the subsequent fumble who knows? Be that as it may, it was well played game, respectful in many ways.
2) The hate for scUM does not equal PuS. I would assume the inverse is true. However, I always liked PuS.
3) Who is PuS' arch rival any way? They shopping for one?
i think the old boss ran a much better program. I thought it was crazy to see michigan players fighting with coaches during the game. shows how far they have fallen. they have lost control of the players there and more will jump ship. they are no longer a rival, but still hated.
Mulligan??? Should not talk about the rivalry, because it would set them up for failure? Spencer Tillman is an ass bag. Emotion was the only thing that kept Michigan in the game… Wow, some people should not be analysts. Also, I thought Joe Tiller was the father of the spread? At least Tillman was correct on the call. One legged man in an ass kicking contest.

He is worse than the old boss at this point. Let's hope he turns it around quickly so the Buckeyes will have more competition in the league.

hey, isn't that 'spawn of MZone's' "dude" in the background there? can anyone read the name on his credentials tag?
I'm calling 911, there's a shady looking individual on my computer!
I Sharted!
I'm picturing RRod in a corner rocking back and forth repeating "get a life...get a life."

Ohio State/Michigan != Ohio State/Penn State
This is the one game where unrepentant put-downs are encouraged. In fact, you're frowned upon if you can't muster one.
Is this what it's like to be a Democrat and watch Fox News?
