FlipBuckeye – We were NOT outplayed. It was a great game that did not turn out in our favor. Both defenses were superb and our freshman QB blinked first – simple as that. He is 19 – it is to be expected. (I can’t speak for everyone) BUT I do not whine and I am always bitter when we lose, I like winning a lot. Most of my post must have be missing because I don’t see my list of what-ifs or the part where I blamed the refs…but “Thanks for pointing it out though.”

Seriously though…missing a night game in The Shoe against a 3rd ranked PSU team because it is date night? I find it hard to take criticism from a part time fan with questionable priorities.

HAL3, not really sure what me missing the game live had anything to do with what Allen was saying. Thanks for pointing it out though.

Go ahead and continue to whine about the what-ifs and question the refs… you’ll just sound like a bitter, sore loser… or even worse, a Michigan fan. I can only hope the rest of our fanbase is above that. We were outplayed. To blame the refs above PSU or even OSU for the loss is just reaching. And sad. I don’t know that it is “truely” sad, but it is sad.

FlipBuckeye – Allen was simply stating a fact that my group recognized as well. He did not ask that everyone return to the Shoe and replay the game from that point. Your comment of “don’t be that guy” seems a little strange coming THIS GUY…

“Unfortunately I won’t be able to catch this game live. I’m super pissed. My better half made plans for us to go out tonight, so I’ll have it on my DVR for a late night/early morning showing.”

Sad. Truely Sad.

The yellow TV lines are hardly valid indicators. And refs are not accurate in spotting the ball on any down that isn’t reviewed so there’s no point in singling out that one down. I guarantee you you can go back to several other plays on both sides where the ball was spotted too short or too generously.

What’s done is done, don’t be that guy. Both sides played a great game and the refs let them play for the most part. Let’s look forward to how our team rises after the fall. Sucks it’s a bye week.

Please do not misconstrue this as sour grapes…..but, I have not read anything about the spot Beanie Wells got just before the Pryor fumble. The TV booth had called it first down by at least a half yard & the replay clearly shows him over the yellow line ???????
