Jason we need a Sanchez pic of throwing his mouth peice against the wall as the Beavers dominated the Mark May USC tem. Anybody, which all of us are guilty of watching Gameday should tell Mark May to F*** OFF and go coach the PITT OFF line and Lou Holtz to go to speech class or help Bill Parcells sorry Charlie Weiss coach Norte Dame back to Divison 1.

We killed our first two drives vs USC that should have went for td's. If we had beanie there is no question he breaks atleast two big runs. If Pryor plays the whole game we might of had a shot.

El, I'm a huge playoff proponent, but knowing USC's methods, they'd probably sweep every year because all of the games would be big ones/worthy enough of their attention and preparation.

With a 16 or 8 team playoff, there's room for them to lose that one game each year to a major dog and then get in and wax everyone at the end.

I want to know when this kind of thing is going to start costing USC significantly when it comes to national respect the way our last few losses have.

Think about it: that's four times in 2006, 2007, and 2008 (so far) that the Trojans and Surfer Pete have lost TO UNRANKED TEAMS. OHIO STATE HAS LOST EXACTLY FOUR GAMES TOTAL IN THE SAME SPAN.

Not to mention that our FOUR TOTAL losses have included games vs. a #1 team and TWO #2s. NOT unranked teams. Not two consecutive road losses to a fair-to-middling conference rival like Oregon State. Not any defeats against the worst team in the conference, a la Stanford.

You watch, though. I just this FUCKING SECOND heard Scott Van Pelt say that you can't exclude USC from the National Championship picture, and the hell of it is he's probably right.

BUT: what if Beanie is really able to come back strong and runs wild the rest of the year? What if the O-line starts playing up to its potential/reputation, and LiC becomes VY2? What if we run the table, including a tough road game @ Camp Randall and beating what looks to everybody like a very good Penn State team? Will the Buckeyes get to be in the mix? NOT ON YOUR FUCKING LIFE. Even though that in that event, it will be clear that that Buckeye team will have been a far different and better one than the one whose only loss was IN SEPTEMBER to the nation's #1 TEAM AT THE TIME. Meanwhile, the Trojans (assuming they win out) WILL be in the mix, despite having merely won what is clearly the weakest of the BCS conferences and having lost to a team that ABSOLUTELY NOBODY expected to beat them. What a bullshit system this is.

I've said it before: there should never be any rankings until every single 1-A team has played at least one conference game. And those rankings should be used to compile a seeded, 16-team playoff where the 1st round is played at the higher seed's field.

Some of you guys piss me off(tlb). You still don't get how bad Todd Boeckman was during his time as starter. The O line would give him all day and he would get happy feet and move from the pocket into the sack everytime. The d line could be very good with the move to a smaller faster line up. Of course it never hurts to play tight man coverage and bring a blitz every once and awhile.

Pete Carroll's legacy. Stanford, Oregon State (x2), UCLA.

What was the line on this one anyway?

Penn State looking scarier than ever---but of course when the Nittany Lions start to smell the MNC, they inevitably implode under the weight of their all too high expectations.

Getting back to the original post topic, I think that shot of Sanchez stomping off the field with his head hanging low would make a nice 404 page for USC's team site.
