Terrelle Pryor Trucks Minnesota Defender

This highlight deserves a post of its own. Was a Gopher coach actually asking him to lower his head and hit someone?

Interesting that Rex Sharpe is described by the Gopher sports information folks as "A speedy, hard-hitting linebacker...".

You really need to do yourself a favor and head over to YouTube to watch the video in high quality.

I admire his guts and his intensity, but there is NO WAY that our starting QB should level a LB (with his throwing shoulder no less!)....... that is good way to end a season quickly. If the Minnesota coach challenged his manhood, he should have just smiled and ran the ball down their throats for a TD and then smiled again. Hopefully Tressel will teach him about discretion being the better part of valor.....

It was awesome and I commend him for it. Yeah I know he put his arm at risk, but the Buckeyes need that fire. Right now aside from TP you only see that kind of intensity from Jenkins and sometimes Beanie. Everyone else looks like they're ready to take a nap.

I'd rather he be smart and not use his shoulders to lay someone out, but I love it. I agree with Flip: this team has been in desperate need of someone to stoke them up and help them play with an attitude.

I really, intensely dislike the "trash-talking," braggadocious nature of today's athlete, but I do admire someone who plays with an attitude, and means business when he straps on a helmet. This is a kid who can lead.

Beanie loves to lay people out, and now we have a quarterback who likes it, too. Let's see what happens when the offensive line figures out they're allowed to fire off the ball and knock someone's head in, too.

Gawd, I hope they can beat Bucky.

Good Call on Sabino, Mitch! Chris turned to me and asked who laid out that Gopher and for the second straight week, it was Sabino. He reminds me of Brian Rolle last year, what a great wedge buster.
You had to know Sabino is good, since he is seeing the field with the linebacker depth on this team.

Another freshman who has impressed has been Nathan Williams, I like he speed coming off the edge.

That hit was sweet. I was scrambling to find a Gopher roster to see who that was. Sharpe was a JUCO transfer who had some hype heading into the season but has rarely played. Welcome to the Big Ten Mr. Sharpe.
