Great post Steve ... fired me up

I have never been so down on this team as I have the last few days, but I hold out hope ... please God throw us a bone

one problem, we have more fire than this defense!! (your post shows more leadership than this entire team) This team reflects its head coach and that means no real lows but no real highs, either - I guess that's both a good and bad thing.

Small apology for yesterday's downer of a post I made about the Bucks yesterday:

The Bucks are my team, I mean I take "Our honor defend, we'll fight to the end" very seriously. I graduated from OSU, I blog about them all year, and that's probably why I'm a little disappointed this year that they're not meeting my expectations on the field. So, I've been a little down, and I've expressed my anxiety on previous postings.

But on the bus today (I'm in Seattle), I saw a guy standing on the street with his fratboy hair all spiked up and a gray t-shirt that was obviously meant to show off his biceps which had the letters USC on the front. I wanted to bust his face with a buckeye necklace. And that's when I realized that I'm a Buckeye, dammit, and like Woody, I despise those that beat us or who write us off because they think we're weak. And I'll be damned if some University of Spoiled Children, half of whom only got in because their mommy or daddy went there, who get free passes from the NCAA, who have criminals as Heisman winners, and who wouldn't give their team or their stadium the time of day if they're not favored to win the Pac-10, go out there take our Ohio State Buckeyes to the woodshed.

Screw them! The streak ends now! GO BUCKEYES!!!! O-H!!!!

The depth chart on the OSU press release today has Beanie as the starting tailback (this is as of September 7th). Tressel would not be playing Beanie if he wasn't damn near close to 100%. I strongly believe that he wouldn't put any of his players in danger regardless of the magnitude of a game. Alas, we'll find out more tomorrow during JT's press conference. Also, SC WR Vidal Hazelton is questionable for the game, and Maualuga (hand) and Cushing (wrist) will both be wearing protective casts.

He doesn't need to be 100%. Beanie was the best back in the nation last year and he played at maybe 75%. I'd guess him at 60% physically, shot up all to shit with Novocaine, and absolutely refusing to lose, a la wisconsin 2007 controlled fury. Stop freaking out so much, you guys sound like a bunch of Michigan Wolverines. In Tressel We Trust.

ESPN told me that Ohio State's first meeting with USC was 1990. Who knew?

So what's the probability of Beanie playing?
