Any time a team can hang 50+ on a BCS team, you know they might be a tad decent.

I agree with dropping the Buckeyes below USC. Even if Beanie hadn't been injured, after seeing the way USC dominated Virginia, I am starting to have my doubts. Don't get me wrong I'll be pulling for the bucks, its just that USC doesn't seem to have any real weakness

Where are you getting Les Miles 15-0 non-conference record? If you are including his record at OK-State, he'd have at least one loss to OSU in the Alamo bowl several years back.

In my re-watching bonanza of Sunday/Monday, I am reminded of how terrible channel 6's "Buckeye Football Fever" is. They spent about 10 of the first 15 minutes talking about each other’s clothes, including DStanley's clown suit. I'm not sure what pictures Clay Hall has of his boss committing some sort of felony but clearly they are damaging. Please, stop airing this show live, tape it and save all of us the mindless yapping as they nervously toss it from the sideline to the studio and back again with no apparent rhyme or reason. At least on tape, a producer could alert Hall to the fact that he just lead off the opening game kick-off show with a diatribe about Harley's "elf shoes" and proceed to do another take. Don't get me wrong, I prefer live pre-game coverage but I would also rather watch a pregame show about...the game? I realize the irony of beating the "talk more about football" drum by talking a bunch of shit about their show and not football but I was left no choice.

This show also included the DStanley gem "(Pryor) with hard work and doing the right thing, COULD be the man in 2 or 3 years." Now that, my friends, is true fucking insight.

OK, I feel better.

I have to agree with the decision to drop them a spot for now as well, their ranking just like Georgia's is dependent on who is healthy, etc. In my heart the bucks are #1, but if they were to play Oklahoma this week instead of Ohio U, you'd have to think the Sooners would have the edge. I don't know about the rest of everyone, but I was impressed with Mizzou's defense, they seemed to be in the right spot every time for Illinois play. Juice never seemed to be comfortable

We all agreed that Beanie's injury cast a little doubt. Until we know more, we dropped the Bucks a little. I'm no USC apologist but I think it's fair to say UVA is a better team than Youngstown State, plus USC was on the road.

The blogpoll is great in that you can change teams week to week based on how they are playing and/or events that occur in the game. We try to use it as a power poll and if Beanie isn't on this team, we give USC a slight edge against us.

How can you drop OSU and move up USC? Both of the team they played were horrible and USC got scored on. Chris I dont agree with your poll.
