I’d almost lump season enders and breaker into one category. Bucks need the season makers.

Good point about the week after playing Wisconsin. In a similar vein, I still say that our loss to scUM back in 2003 was mostly due to fatigue after fighting through an extremely physical overtime thriller against Purdue the week before. Not to mention that we had way too many close games that season and almost never got a chance to play our reserves.

Really good article. I think Troy, PSU, Sparty, and Illinois are all tricky/scary for different reasons. I’m not sure about Wisco and what kind of team they will have this year, but they have certainly given JT’s teams fits (though mostly under Alvarez).

Who knows what Michigan looks like come November. They could be a very improved team playing for a decent bowl and maybe a share of the conference, or they could suck. But is THE rivalry game and you can throw records and talent on paper out the window.

God is it Saturday yet! Let’s get to it!

This is a great way to look at the season, and an even better analysis of each team. My buddy always talks about how he loves Nebraska (well, old Nebraska anyway) for the reasons mentioned above, and I just emailed him this. Love Jim Tressel’s revenge record as well. Cheers!

Six cakewalks and six tricky ones (various degrees of trickiness, of course). Like most, the only two that really worry me are USC and Wisconsin.

Interesting stat about the week after playing Wiscy. I don’t see it happening this year to the Bucks, playing Purdue at home, but still very interesting.

I totally agree with the take on the Troy game. That’s a big-time sleeper. I also agree that the m*ch*g*n game will be tougher – and closer – than people expect.
