I don't think it's specifically Penn State, but it was published (at least partially on their site). Scout has a gazillion sites and reuse stories with different headers.

His other "stories" tell the tale.

"SEC Coaches: How Many Is Too Many?, July 7" (I'd guess 1 per team)

"New Coordinators No Problem For Auburn, July 1" (Wasn't that one game)?

Penn State is just upset because they joined a big boy conference and were exposed as being a once a decade team.

Why are Penn State fans talking smack? That baffles me given their near perennial status as fourth place in the conference. I guess when you can't run with the big boys any more you have to resort to name calling.

I don't understand the anti-Buckeye sentiment at all. Oklahoma didn't get this much flak when they dropped two eggs in the national title games against LSU and USC. And they also haven't won a recent regular BCS game either, most notably the one they dropped to BSU. Since Oklahoma last won a BCS bowl, Ohio State has won 3, one of them being a national title. Oklahoma destroyed their conference last year, and then got shredded by a coach-less WVU team in the bowl game. No one is saying Oklahoma doesn't deserve a chance this year. But for some reason, Ohio State is a special case and has somehow pissed off a lot of people.

It's like all these people outside of the Buckeye community have taken it personally that OSU played for those title games. The BCS doesn't exist strictly to entertain everyone. It exists to pit the 2 most deserving football teams on the field at the end of the year. Fans are incredibly important, but it's still a game played between college students, and blowout losses happen. It's way more likely for a blowout loss to occur in college football than a close game. Only about half of the BCS title games have been any good.

Buckeye-haters, get over yourselves. The college football world doesn't revolve around whether or not Ohio State entertains you. So go find something else to complain about.

I think we have to get used to Ohio State bashers all season, 2 losses will over-shadow their recent 30-3 record.

Holy sh!t....I just watched the "Pete being Pete" blog video for the first time.....that is probably the most uncomfortable I have been in the last 2 years of my life....I don't vare what culture that is from - it is GAY! Change you culture to punching people in the arm if they look at a circle that you made with your thumb and pointing finger....it's what we do in ohio and at least it incorporates male violence instead of homosexuality.......no matter how dumb it is.

I thought that was nice of him, compressing all those asinine arguments into a convienient little reference package like that.

Why is it that the people with the most myopic views of sport feel the need to talk so much?
