It's really funny to see how many people hate us but you know....why should we care? We have one of the biggest Universities in the world...we will never be lonely :) It's sad that fans of other teams can't stand behind their teams like Ohioans...and I don't mean just Buckeyes..I'm talking the Indians, Reds, Browns, Cavs, yes- even Bengals. We are not fair-weather friends here, we are loyal and proud because we grew up in a beautiful state. Yeah sure...OH doesn't have Hollywood or the Empire State building (I can talk- I live in LA and lived in NYC) but we've got beautiful communities, fun cities, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Football Hall of Fame, Cedar Point (voted best amusement park in the world since the early 1980's), and a lake called Erie big enough to have military ships on. Maybe we annoy you because we always love our teams even when our jobs take us to other states, maybe we annoy you because the Buckeye fans have a camaraderie that you just can't grasp, or maybe you are just too quick to judge us when we defend our spirit...it doesn't matter..the Buckeyes have a bigger fan base than any other football team in the country. I also want to say that I have traveled the entire state of OH and, although there are exceptions, I have seen just as many OSU banners in Cinnci as in my home near Cleveland. I pray our Buckeyes win the big game against USC tomorrow...but if we don't I still know we have an amazing team. Maybe that's what really bothers people- even when we are not at the top...we are always near the top. Besides...the most important game in College football is always the Saturday before Thanksgiving...Ohio State vs. Michigan. Talk about an historic event! And have you noticed that the people bashing us on this blog are not from Michigan? That's because Michigan fans also respect their team and others. The teams of the oldest college rivalry RESPECT each other. So take note if you're not privileged to be a part of that kind of bond...learn how to respect because we respect you even while defending ourselves. How firm thy friendship O-hi-o!! GO BUCKS!!!!!!! WHY CAN'T IT BE UNDERSTOOD? when osu makes all of the voters look stupid by getting smoked in the biggest game of the year two years in a row, the voters will think twice about sending them back. we the fans deserve a better championship game than the last two.
