Florida Atlantic is going to be a tough game. The Vegas line is 3.5 points in Michigan State's favor. However, FAU is a dangerous team offensively and they're going to come out of the gate swinging.

I think it is easy to "like" Sparty because, like us, they hate Michigan too.

I've got a spot in my heart for Javon Ringer since he is an Ohioan. I played against him in a 7 on 7 passing tournament my junior year in high school and still remember him vividly. The bastard put his helmet into my leg full speed and I'm still hurting from it. God damn scar tissue. We got the best of him and beat Chaminade Julienne though. He played DB too. Great athlete. I root for him when he's not playing the Buckeyes since OSU didn't offer him. Would like to see Dantonio and MSU turn it around and be formidable, which they should be this year.

I'd love to see MSU manhandle California right off the bat. They will have a lot of attention on a very competive opening day game. Cal has lost a lot of skill players and I'm counting on Sparty to carry the Big Ten banner proudly.

A win at Cal and Illinois handing one to Missouri would be a great start and stifle the "Big 10 sucks" chants from around the nation...for at least a week.

The game in East Lansing is one of those games (along with Illinois, Wisconsin and obviously USC) that should worry Buckeye fans a little.

Solid quarterback, running back and coach could cause some indigestion if Ohio State doesn't come to play.

That's the downside of being on top -- everyone is saving their best shot for the Buckeyes.

Javon Ringer is a beast and I think Dantonio is building a solid program for Sparty. They migh make scUM think twice about referring to them as "little brother."

Great Review ! I couldn’t have said it any better, but will trying the next couple weeks. I also believe a possible 7 – 0 MSU start is possible, but, then comes OSU, UofM, Wisc, Purdue and JoePa. This is a tough way to end the season. Last year in the Horse Shoe Spartans lost 24 – 17… A good game.. hopefully MSU will eek out a win this year on Oct. 18.... but not probable… Sparty On !!!
