I just hope it works out for everyone. It seems like we’ve seen this before where playing time shortage forces a transfer, but it doesn’t really work out at the new school either. The researchers at 11W could probably tick these off (McFadden, Moldanado, etc). Nick Goins is the only one I can think of that found some success later. AND…in addition to not getting more glory, the transferee squanders what can be a world-class education, plus the truly outstanding benefits of that come along with being a Buckeye football alum. Frequently even backups get a shot at the NFL….(Garcia, Zwick..).

How ’bout an all-transfer team?

Too bad… I really thought Henton was going to play a major role this year. It seems that the brush with the law last year soured JT’s view of Henton more than anyone thought. Schoenhoft was never a good fit for the program and Tressel let him know that after the Michigan game— Henton never saw the field during the LSU game and I think that was the foreshadowing of the future. IF JT truly had confidence in Henton he would have played and tried to change the momentum. By all accounts, he is a nice kid who made a mistake—- he deserves a chance and with golden boy Pryor at OSU that simply would never happen. I only hope that Pryor does not suffer any injuries because we will be wishing Henton never left….. good luck Antonio

If that happens its unfortunate, but completely understandable. I wouldn’t want to sit behind All-World TP either. Henton has skills and should get to show them on the field, just doesn’t look like it will be at the Shoe.

Hey Joseph, we love our guys. Even the ones that never play. We wish above all else for them to enjoy a happy and meaningful life. And if that means they need to go somewhere else to do it, we don’t stop lovin ‘em. Anotnio was nothing if not classy, and you’ll enjoy having him. Good luck, and I’ll make sure i catch any games that get televised. :)
