Of all the Ohio State games i watched this year it seemed to me that koufos is just soft, and that is what is expected of foriegn big men but he has no intensity at all i can remember one time in the big ten tourney were he actually threw down a dunk with emphasis...... people say he can step away from the paint in the nba hit an outside shot or draw centers or forwards out to defend him good luck with that he will have to face K.G., Dwight Howard, Amare Stoudamire, and alot of other athletic centers and forwards......

I wouldn't call it earth shattering talent, but I think your 10-4-2 is about right. By reading these posts I take it most people don't watch much NBA or NBA drafts. Take a look at the players drafted 14-16 which is where KK is projected. I’m guessing there are a lot of bums and guys who are selling insurance.

Does he need another year of college to get stronger, improve defense, and improve rebounding...absolutely. So I understand Buckeye fans being mad that he's leaving, but the tangibles he has are pretty rare for a mid first round pick (7 foot, 3 point range on his jumper, 50% FGs, 70% from the line, ability to finish around the rim with both hands). The NBA draft is all about potential and I think that’s my only point.

I don't get the earth-shattering talent people see in Koufos, either - at least not at this stage of his career. I think he'll develop into a solid player in the NBA level - probably a 10-4-2 guy, which teams can always use - but not a Nowitzki-type of presence. He won't make or break a franchise.

Lauderdale started coming on late last season, and as much as it stinks to lose Wallace, there's enough young talent coming in to make next year interesting. It'll sort of feel like starting all over from scratch, though.

That's the toughest part about these players leaving early: Your APR sinks, and that's a big hazard, but you don't get a chance to build much consistent team chemistry. You lose pieces just as soon as you figure out how they work.

KK was not even the best player on a team that couldn't make the NCAA Tourney.

Mad skillz indeed.

KK is just the next Buckeye baller to leave early. We better get used to this because this is going to keep happening year after year with the NBA rules. Good luck KK. Give me Mullins, Lauderdale, and Kecman with a heapling helping of pissed off from day one please! Go Bucks!

Did anyone inform Kecman that Serbian recruits no longer receive manilla envelopes full of benjamins and "tutors" that would make the University of Buffalo leading scorer Andy Robinson's life a lot easier?

"mad skills"?! C'mon, Koufos shined in the NIT so I don't think that is going to be enough for them to retire his number. KK better pray he doesn't get drafted by the blazers. Can you imagine the look on their collective faces that first time him and Oden go head-to-head? As soon as they stop laughing hysterically and pick themselves up off the floor, they will cut Koufos on the spot.
