As sentimental as the clip is, I agree that including a “highlight” from our second straight national title loss is not in the best of tastes.

Don’t get me wrong, huge ginormous Buckeyes fan. Blatant rip off’s only work when you stick with the original concept of the ad. Wayyyy too long. And, the Beanie Wells stiff-arm? C’mon–we got saaaamoked…that’s a stretch. How embarrassing if LSU fan were to see it. Nice effort though…but let’s put some polish on it as we poise ourselves for arguably one of the most amazing OSU team to date.

couple things too add to the negative mood…

shouldn’t it be redemption redemption?…(we call this a win at USC)

and god it would suck if michigan beat ohio state. I haven’t even had that thought for 1623 days (according to the dispatch).

Vern as a coach killer?!?

I’ll take JT’s word over some some guy from Scout. There is no way Vern is not productive in the NFL. What is playing character? Showing up in the big games? Wisconsin or Michigan?

Wow! This is what Tom Marino of Scout.com had to say about the New York Jets draft:

“Well, I’m not going to sugarcoat this one. Vernon Gholston is a coach killer who lacks tenacity and the playing character necessary to become a productive player in the NFL. Always remember that leopards don’t change their spots.”

He graded the Jets draft as an “F”
