What a childish a-hole. I mean, doesn’t Cris get that a MICHIGAN blog is bound to write not-so-sweet things about him? Why take personal offense to it? (Maybe I’d have to read the entire blog…maybe there is more to it.) I’m inclined to think that the actual reason Cris freaked out is that he knows it’s the truth.

Funny – I picked up on the fact that Cris might be an a-hole awhile ago, and I’ve never met the guy. My suspicions even compelled me to write a post on a Philadelphia Eagles messageboard asking if Cris was indeed a jerk (people there weren’t ready to accuse him of being one). The reason I asked is that recently, I saw Cris on “Mike and Mike” – and I sensed a degree of coldness from Mike Golic toward Cris. I thought the vibe was a little odd considering that they were teammates for a few years (Eagles). And Golic seems like a pretty easygoing guy – so I figured that whatever the problem may be between those two, Golic wasn’t the reason for it (plus, I had peeped earlier “clues” that Cris was a SOB).

JodyRope – Yeah, blogs never cite sources and they’re terrible journalists. I mean with real journalist citing “sources near the situation” or “a source who wishes to remain anonymous” that could be anybody. I could be sitting in an igloo in Arctic Circle and tell a reporter that Chris Carter is a delicious human being and they can print it. You saying “Crater (sic) doesn’t talk that way-trust me-” is the same thing. Why should we believe you over a blogger? You have no journalistic credibility either. Maybe you should just get over the fact that one of your Buckeye heroes is a prick.

I ran into CC at Dan marino’s HOF induction in Canton. Dude was a total prick. I tried to get him to give me an I-O for my O-H and he gave me the same scowl that I imagine he gave this guy. He said something snotty like “oh you think I’m going to respond to you?” I love the Bucks and the Dolphins (granted CC’s Dolphin career was less than stellar) but I agree that Cris Carter is a jerk.

You all BELIEVE this happened? That crappy dialogue isn’t from real life but from some dweeber’s wishful imagination. Problem with blogs: NO JOURNALISTIC CREDS. No second source. Nothing but a loser lying and readers buying it all. Crater doesn’t talk that way–trust me–and he’s been called worse at the ’shoe and the Metrodome w/out blinking.

I agree that SBB is pretty quality. Also Brooks used to have a radio show on 1460 when he was in Cbus, so he has a soft spot for the Buckeyes (although he didn’t write this particular post).
