joe fox you really think wisky will be that good this year? i don't see it i watched their bowl game live from tampa last year and when the starting qb got knocked out they had nobody and i mean nobody to step up. That starter is gone this year wisky doesn't stand a chance. Illini got our c game last year and help from the refs next year i think we will have something for that ass. So that leaves USC that game is our year!

As far as I can tell, Olson looks to be out again this season. I'm afraid that he may have D'Andreanitis.

Didn't we recruit the #1 fullback last year Aram Olson? What happened to him?

Great news about Hines. If Terry ends up spending most of his time on offense (which I have a hunch will be the case), Hines will be important skilled depth at that position.

Gibson and Thomas are great choices as well. There should be plenty of blowouts early on, so hopefully a lot of guys will see the field.

This team is going to be fun to watch.

Ray Small actually looked like he played with a purpose.

My god.

And it was a spring game.

Can't wait to see Lamaar Thomas though. No way he redshirts, he has wide receiver speed and a halfback's mentality.

I agree with Greg Oden's Tonsils above, I am looking forward to T. Gibson and the monster season he is going to have. Wilson and Heywood are going to wreck havoc on opposing offenses and then Gibson comes in every few plays with fresh legs. I think this end rotation is going to help out inside, with all four tackles coming back for their second year of playing.

I'm eager to see more out of Thomas and Stoneburner. I just don't think Ray Small is ever going to "get there."

Great OSU review, but we're whistling past the graveyard to think that "the season boils down to the September 13th visit to USC." This team has a very tough road game at Bucky, and they rarely play well in Champaign.

Kirk BARTON? I watched the Spring Game on the BTN and his name is actually Kirk BURTON. There were a few other gems, but I think I've blocked them from my memory.

Not sure if he is a dark horse, but I can't wait to see Thad Gibson/Xzibit's stunt double, get down this year. I think he is going to really wreack havok from the end on passing downs this year.

apparently the Hines injury isn't serious: http://blog.cleveland.com/sports/2008/04/ohio_state_football_fellows_ha.html

you have to scroll down a bit, but...

A word on Glenville grad and OSU rising sophomore linebacker Jermale Hines, who was carted off the field at the spring game with what looked like a left knee injury. A person close to Hines said the injury was not serious and that he'll be back in time for the start of preseason camp in August.
