Nice locker room. Where was that? Ravenna High?
I wish I knew what this was from (the game, and whatever video it was compiled for). The only way I knew about it was it leading up to some OSU-Michigan highlight from the 2004 game set to the tune of POD’s Boom. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zbpY3ny2TA, I think.
I just punched guy next to me cause he made a mistake.
Pansy.
It’s from a BBC documentary filmed in 1977. Woody Hayes The Football Coach. I don’t think is available any longer.
If memory serves, Ohio State was playing Miami of Florida, and won 10-7, or 7-0.
must be this game: http://www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com/ViewArticle.dbml?&DB_OEM_ID=17300&ATCLID=1179660&SPID=10408&SPSID=87743
I’ve always been curious about that pic of Ron Springs; chiefly, what is that on his helmet? I don’t know if that’s a smear from game play or some kind of commemorative leaf of whatever. I’m guessing it’s just a smear.
I have the above mentioned Woody BBC documentary, the HBO special on OSU/ um Rivalry, and the Ted Ginn Sr. story on a dvd. Football 101 Go Bucks !!
Hit that boy in the throat, Woody! He ain’t sposed ta intercept yer QB! Yeah, do it on national tv!
Go Clemson!
Will the suckeyes ever beat the SEC?
Will any Clemson fan ever master English sufficiently to make himself understood? It’s morons like this that make it hard for a man to admit to being a Southerner.
It’s amusing, though, to see a Clemson fan ribbing someone else about choking in big games. *That’s* funny.
Yay! Go Clemson! The Purple Tigers! We are so going to rule the ACC next year! Well, that is if we don’t lose the Tommy Bowden-required 3 games!
Didn’t Clemson lose to Auburn? I guess that ACC gauntlet of Wake, FSU, and Virginia Tech didn’t prepare you to play against that SSSEEECCCC speed.
(From Vico’s link):
“Typical of Hayes’ coaching style, of the 80 plays the Buckeyes ran on offense, 71 were kept on the ground. Quarterback Rod Gerald finished an efficient 6-for-9 through the air for 60 yards.”
There you have it, kids. PERFECT FOOTBALL. Way to be, Woody!
Ah, for the good old days. :)
Oh yeah… stinky feet!!! Let’s rock!
The best ever and this is coming from a Penn State fan
