If you've played a lick of hoops in your life you've no doubt executed the old "throw the ball off the opponent" move in order to keep possession. Well, Washington Husky Tim Morris took the move to another level with this beauty against UCLA.

Oh, man, that's great. I want more of that.
I think that kid broke an orbital bone though, it would have been a bit funnier if it was a groin shot.
How did the refs eat their whistle on that play. I understand it's "legal", but..
Hey, the face is in play. If you're going to get it in the way, oh well. I've caught plenty of elbows to my pretty face. Enough that it's no longer pretty.
But they usually call flagrant 'bows, right?
Think Kelly Pavlik will wear his Buckeye trunks when he pounds Jermain Taylor's arkansas ass again?
Nothing flagrant. You can just be playing aggressive defense, and reach for the ball as a guy is truning. You catch them all the time rebounding. Nothing purposfull, mind you.
It's already been established that throwing the ball at another player on purpoose is not only legal, but smart. No caveats had been made about WHICH parts of the body OK to richochet the ball off of. Perhaps this leads to distinctions being made. But as of yet, it was a perfectly legal, and hilarious, play.
