Show some pride, for Pete's sake. I completely understand why Indiana chose to part ways with Bobby Knight, so my opposition to Sampson has nothing to do with any allegiance to the former regime. No one, though - even Knight's harshest critics - can accuse him of running a dirty program, circumventing NCAA rules, or failing to graduate his players. Indiana was languishing as an also-ran in the Big T(elev)en, and chose to go after a coach they thought could deliver good athletes and lots of wins. But why you elect to sully your good name with a coach who is incapable of playing by the most basic of rules is beyond me. You can win and adhere to the code of conduct. When it was discovered he loaned the money to a potential recruit, he was promptly fired and OSU put themselves on a post-season ban for a year. I think any Buckeye fan will curse his name, since we had to remove the 1999 Final Four banner and his last season they were 13-16.
