I know Matta is a bad-azz coach, but can someone tell Terwill-i-can’t-stay-on-my-feet-if-my-life-depended-on-it to quit jumping at EVERY SINGLE PUMP FAKE that he is givin? I mean good lord son, your damn near 7-foot tall, just put your GD hands up! Not only that, but it seems he is starting to fall in love with his 3-pt shot. Again, YOU’RE 7-FT TALL, get in the PAINT!

I am not sure what he is giving us, that Dallas can’t….maybe another 3-pt shooter (like we don’t have enough of those already)

I hear you, GB89…Even Oden didn’t get the ball inside enough in this offense…More often than not, the perimeter guys are too busy running the weave to look inside and when they do, Koufos never holds his position so he ends up shooting fade away bullsh!t off a spin move…he’s definitely not ready for the nba…Hunter, however, was unbelievable yesterday…

Diebler will come around. He’s a role player, and the team shouldn’t go down just because he has a bad game. The one that concerns me is Koufas. He’s playing against a team that starts 3 guards and no one over 6′9″. And he goes 5-13 from the field and shoots only 3 free throws. This guy is going to the NBA next year supposedly. Why can’t he get anything done this season? Othello Hunter completely outplayed him yesterday, and it’s a good thing he did because we wouldn’t have been in the game if he hadn’t.

Something needs to change about the way we use the big man on offense. We need to work harder to get him the ball so that the other team will respect our inside game. Then maybe our 3-point shooters will have an easier time of it.

Diebler is struggling, but he’ll be ok. He needs to find more creative ways of scoring rather than just hanging around the perimiter waiting to jack 3s. The guy you have to wonder about is Twigs. You may as well play Lauderdale now and let him develop because he could pay big dividends at the end of the year. Twigs simply is not a good defender or rebounder and you have to wonder how much longer Matta will stick with him. He made the choice a few years back to bench Tony Stockman & Cheatum so that Butler could develop.

I gotta admit, Britton, its getting tough to watch him out there…Not that I would’ve before today, but I definitely wouldn’t have had a beef with Wallace getting some time…That said, we did great on the boards so any advantage Wallace has over Diebler in that category wasn’t needed…If anything we needed ball handlers and that’s pretty much a stalemate, too…

Can anyone honestly tell me that Wallace couldnt do a better job than Diebs right now? The guy takes 6 shots and 5 of them were 3’s and doesnt hit one of them. He is the worst “pure shooter” I have ever seen.

I wouldn’t write off Diebler yet. I have no way of proving this of course, but at least from my observations, pure shooters have the most difficult transitions from the HS to college level, especially coming from the HS competition he had at US. I look forward to seeing how he progresses.

That said, I admit I was yelling at the TV “we brought you on scholarship to MAKE those threes dammit” on his two final whiffs in the closing seconds.

I still think Diebler will come around. The Bucks hit a stretch of 5 very winnable games. There were some good offensive signs today, after the first 6 minutes.
