Boone’s Back…No Word On Little Animal
Tim May of the Dispatch is reporting that Alex Boone will return to the Buckeyes for his senior season. Boone admits that he was leaning towards splitting for the NFL after the BCS title game because he was feeling “bitter” because of the loss to LSU. But after giving it a second thought, the left tackle decided that he needed to return to the Buckeyes because he wanted to improve his play and be better prepared for the NFL.
So far, Gun Show is the only Buckeye heading to the NFL. Boone joins Jenkins, Robo, and Freeman in returning to the Buckeyes for their senior seasons. But Buckeye Nation is still anxiously awaiting the word on Little Animal.
Personally, I think it’s a toss-up on Laurinaitis. One side of me thinks he’ll leave. The draft projections I’ve seen have him going in the 1st round, sometimes very early. But something tells me that there’s a chance that Laurinaitis is the kind of guy that enjoys playing college ball. Only time will tell.

The domino effect is here. I wouldn’t be surprised at this point if JL comes back. He wants to join the club. His team mates and friends are back.
On the other hand, all the campus stores selling 33 jerseys for 50 percent off has me a bit worried. I like to read into things like that.
Damn!
There’s nothing like experience on the o-line…incoming OT stud recruits Mike Adams & JB Shugarts can still battle over the right tackle position. You know the Vest will find playing time for both if they earn it in practice.
Boonie said on Wall 2 Wall Sports last night that he thinks Little Animal will be back as well. He said he was pretty sure that he was ‘leaning’ towards coming back, and that Big Boonie would go back to campus and slap him around a bit to get him to stay.
SI’s preseason #2 may not be as lofty as I originally thought. I knew Gun Show would be gone, I thought for sure Jenkins would go as well. Freeman & Boone had me guessing. Now that we have most back for the Sr. years, bodes well for the Bucks…..notice how the last 2 years we have been beaten by teams with Sr loaded rosters?
Word is that Boone just told the guys at 1460 The Fan that Laurinaitis will be coming back for his senior year. No online confirmation yet, but it’s looking good.
Here’s where I heard it.
