Are you from Ohio? I do agree the chip is an important factor and that the Buckeyes deserve more respect than they have have gotten from the media generally. However I think you underestimate the fact this is virtually a home game for LSU and they will leave it all on the field for 60 minutes. If it goes to overtime I think OSU will pull it out. But in regulation, in the Superdome, the Tigers will get it done. Sorry if that spoils someone’s birthday.

Joe, you’re a much better man than me. I plan on having my first sixer of Heineken completed by 7:30 PM & I’ll probably have my second completed by 9:45. I will be working off nervous energy in a different way, I guess. Instead of burning calories, I’ll be adding them.

Great preview.

I’m planning to go to the gym at around 7:30 PM and start my run then. I’ll finish at about 9:45, and I hope that the run will burn off some nervous energy, and give me something to do during the frenetic first few minutes of the game. There are TVs aplenty at the “Y,” so I won’t miss anything, but I have to have something to do that doesn’t entail chewing my fingernails off.

After the Steelers tanked Saturday, I need the Buckeyes to come through. Gawd, I love that team.

Come on, boys. Woody is watching.
