Since Ohio State sends more pros to the NFL than Tennessee, Arkansas, LSU, Georgia, Auburn or - gasp! - Florida, that must mean that the NFL values hulking, listless, slow-footed players. If the Big 10 goes 2-1 against the SEC in last year's bowl games, but loses the big one, that means that the SEC possesses superior speed and talent - those other two losses be damned. I feel a little sorry for the Tennessee blog. These people have to wear International Orange with a straight face. They have to pretend that their program is still a national power. They have to turn out every year and watch their team choke to Florida. (Do those losses mean that UT possesses inferior talent and slower foot speed than the Gators? No - that couldn't be.) They lost (again) to an Alabama team that went 6-6 and couldn't beat Louisiana-Monroe. They lost the SEC title game on an interception that a Pony League quarterback wouldn't have been dumb enough to throw. These are people in pain, folks.
