He was the only reason to watch the games during his freshman year. That year helped him develop and realize you can only go as far as your team can take you. It made me realize he had unlimited potential. His success always hinged on developing a consistent outside jumper. I'm not surprised at his success in the NBA because it is "1 on 1" league, but I am surprised he developed into a prolific three point shooter. He was always my favorite Buckeye. He was the only reason to watch the games during his freshman year. That year helped him develop and realize you can only go as far as your team can take you. That way us Cavs fans wouldn't have to endure the brittle Larry Hughes. But you gotta respect a guy who resigns with the team who drafted him. When UConn shut Scoonie down in the final four, OSU was done. Redd commented afterwards that he realized that he needed to learn to shoot like Richard Hamilton.
