Maybe thats why they won't come back.....rather avoid us until bowl season....then go 1-2 against us (Big Ten), and then talk about how much better they are than us. My money says if they lose the national championship but beat Michigan and Wisconsin, all we'll hear about is how they still went 2-1 overall. They're like bad politicians, they just talk up the few good things they do and try to brush the bad things under the rug.

Banjo Picker, nice to see you reading some intelligent commentary. However, it seems unlikely that you will reciprocate anytime soon. But fear not, if you hang around here long enough, you might eventually graduate from juvenile phrases like "Ti-gah". There is hope!

Wil, don't be so hard on him. LSU did have enough courage to come up here and face us back in 1988. The result: OHIO STATE 36 LOUISIANA STATE 33. It might not seem so bad unless you consider that 1988's version of the Buckeyes was the worst OSU team in the last 30 years. LSU that season was 8-4 and played in the Hall of Fame Bowl. OSU was 4-6-1 in JHC's first season. I guess the crowd at the 'Shoe must have been too much for Mike Archer and the boys.

Banjo Picker, Disaster in the Desert Part II? Strange, I thought this Championship game was in New Orleans. Oh, I get it, I guess all of Louisiana is barren in regards to common sense and logic. I’m tired of hearing how the SEC is sooooo much better than everyone else. Fact: The Big Ten, within the last 5 years, holds a winning record in head to head match-ups against the SEC. Fact: The Big Ten held a winning record of 2-1 against the SEC last year. Fact: Cal, who did horrible in the Pac Ten, blasted Tennessee (your SEC runner-up) in the mouth.

When your schools have the balls to come up and play us on our turf, away from your home-field advantage, then you can talk some smack.

I'm curious to see whether Lawrence plays. I can't imagine he'd be very productive, or productive enough to burn a potential injury redshirt season. Considering they'll probably lose Gholston this year, I'd save Lawrence for '08. He'll want to play, but I'd dance with the girl that brought you.

I agree that LSU is the best matchup for which Ohio State could have hoped. LSU will largely come straight at Ohio State. The Bucks will (I hope) be motivated to put that SEC speed nonsense to bed. I also firmly believe Les Miles needs frequent medication and a weekend pass program to keep him in balance. He's a nut.

I do not for the life of me understand m*ch*g*n's fascination with Kirk Ferentz. Why is a program like that having trouble attracting top-line coaching talent? For years, we've all heard that m*ch*g*n is one of the top three or four jobs in the country, and this is all their fans can expect? Wow. I don't know if such a situation means that the program is down, but I wonder now if m*ch*g*n's reputation isn't in line for a serious rethinking.

Geezzz nice work Joe, proves an educated man can distort and twist logic just enough to misguide the average simple minded Buckeye fan into thinking their Bowl disasters actually taste great and are easier to swallow after all. LOL get ready for dose of reality like that special deja vu feeling once again like your last nightmare version of Disaster in the Desert Part II when Gator Bait turns into Ti-Gah Bait!!!
