I remember reading a column in the Lantern more than a decade ago, explaining to Buckeyes fans that despite Cooper's inability to beat m*ch*g*n and win "the big one," those years were the golden age of Ohio State football. High draft picks, good bowls, lots of wins, excellent talent, etc. I recall agreeing with that column, at the time. I never saw this guy coming, and couldn't imagine that he'd improve the program the way he has. What a roll he's on.
