I just returned from the buckeye basketball game against Findlay. Final score 70-68 Findlay!?! When we were picked to finish the big ten 3rd I thought for sure that it was a joke. I thought this team could win purely on talent alone. I was very wrong. The offense was sloppy and seemed like they didn't know what they were doing at times. The defense spent a lot of the time watching shots instead of boxing out, consequently leading to Findlay out rebounding us. They were out hustled and out played by a DII team.
Not is all bad though. It's extremely early and an exhibition game. I believe that once this team gels they will be very very good. Hopefully this game will serve as a lesson to this young team.

We'll be fine. As I read, the "haters" will out in droves after we are top 10 by 2nd week of the Big 10 season. This will wind up being a better overall team by years' end than last years even with having maybe half the talent. Let's hope Hill gets the game to spell Butler some needed minutes early on. Let's hope Butler and Diebler do shoot the way we know they can. The rest I believe takes care of itself. GO BUCKS!!!!!!!

Please leave any observations, concerns or comments during or after the game here. Since it is on BTN, I know that limits the viewership, but I would love to hear what our readers think.
