Son of Wilford, be sure to give out some 11W love in section 119.

I heard this morning that Curtis Terry is going to red shirt this year. That leaves OSU with only 10 seniors on the team, 5 of those seniors actually see the field and 3 of those are at fullback. Scary!!

Son of Wilford, I actually agree with you. I don't think either team has proven anything yet. I have a feeling whichever team jumps out to a 2 score lead first will most likely end up winning the game, but probably end up just barely holding off the other team late in the 3rd and 4rth quarters. I also have a feeling that the final score won't represent how close this game is. I'm predicting some late drives, by whichever team is down, that ends up turning it over a couple times by trying to force something and coming away with no points.

Corey, I'll be there...I'm in sec. 119 for every Purdue game with a block of 7 other members of my family.

Honestly, I really think this thing can go either way...it isn't like previous years in many previous seasons in which I was awed by who OSU had beaten, that's why it's tough for me to predict. I do think that both teams have much to prove and this game should do a lot for the winner. Purdue's program desperately needs a win like this. I'm pretty sure my Boilers will lose to UM next week as Joe & Co. crap themselves everytime they enter the Big House...so Purdue especially needs this "W".

Good luck, ladies and gentlemen...here's to hoping Laurinitis doesn't kill any Purdue players (specifically Dorien Bryant across the middle)...and that the team that wins truly earns the "W".

Boiler Up!!

Jason, you don't watch the OC huh?
.....now I'm starting to think it might have been you who posted the comment about the "Mean Girls" movie and now Boone after all.

Anyway, if you don't know the story, Mike & Mike claimed a while back that they came up with that word on the air........fast forward to much later when the word was used by a TV broadcaster describing a breaking ball, they celebrated it as a made up word that they entered into the sports world.

Congratulations Joe. If she didn't say that about Carr, I can bet she'll be saying it soon.

You're right about Barton and Nichol - Purdue 2004. We need to bring you on as our in house Jack Park.

"That was the last time the two teams have met. It’s been so long that none of the current Buckeyes even have game experience against the Boilers."

Jason, I'm certain that current Buckeye WR Devon Lyons played in that 2004 game, and I think Rory Nichol might have seen action as well (although not much, since they were in "shot-Ginn" formation most of the game). Come to think of it, Kirk Barton probably started that game. Still, excellent preview.

BTW, this morning my wife gave birth to our 6th child, a girl. As she was crying shortly after delivery, I could have sworn I heard her say "Lloyd Carr is a weenie", but it could have just been sleep deprivation. Anyway, go Bucks!

Good preview. I agree the OSU running game will be emphasized. You know Jimmy T is gonna pound it all night and if Saine is back in action it's gonna be a long night for the Purdue D. If Purdue's def/st can't force any to's then I think it could get ugly.

The vest + a good qb + nfl defense = Boiler beat down (I threw in the math equation for Einstein).

I have to admit all I have seen of Purdue was against ND which didn't really show me anything except that ND has a coach that can eat fast and players that run slow.
