My apologies (for what its worth) for the actions depicted on that video, its deplorable. The SC police are investigating this now that the video is out. It was the Pikes (Pi Kappa Alpha). We can only hope something comes of it. PSU's fan base has traditionally been associated with above average conduct, this act though a minority, obviously can cause others to reframe their image. It's sad, but true. However, this goes above and beyond that for a couple reasons: 1) the threat of mob violence. 100 people against 2 people who are trying to leave without altercation? That's pretty weak. 2) the idiocy of videotaping it and putting it on the internet. Mistreating opposing fans happens everywhere, it’s practically unavoidable. It’s sad, but true. However, this goes above and beyond that for a couple reasons:

UM game in the hole in the ground. (GOBUCKS89, it's funny you call it that. I do as well. The stadium is not that impressive from the outside) Anyway, it was the 31-3 Desmond Howard game. (I still puke a little in my mouth when I mention that). My roommate & I were stuck in the middle of UM alumni. The game was pretty much over from the start. We sarcastically cheered & high-fived when we finally scored a FG in the 2nd half. A 50-something year old guy behind us shoved my roommate who almost fell over the people in front of us. The dude's wife berated him & he apologized to us. We were 19 year old kids! The kicker is....the guy was a local sheriff! I admit, they were super nice to us after that. But it was still a d*ck move. This happens everywhere. There are some horror stories out there about how some Buckeye fans treated Texas fans a few years ago. I was at the ‘91 OSU v.
