Speak the good word, brother Chris. Those are 4 great points. Of the 4 my biggest concern is #2. I doubt the coaches are just talking up their players to pump their confidence b/c they normally don't do that, but until I see someone other than Beanie pull a spin move, break a tackle, or stiff arm someone on gameday I'm not going to be convinced.

I can't wait to see those Def Ends cause some serious havoc!!!!

CL, you make some good points. Pretty much what I've been thinking about this year's team. There has been a lot of attention over the QB position. But we all know that if the line succeeds, the QB will succeed. Same goes with the defense. I think we'll be biting our nails a little more this season, but I still think we could be a top 5 team by the end of the year if all goes right. I think our season definitely rides on Beanie's success and/or the defense being ultra-stingy.

Don't be surprised to see Brandon Saine getting the ball many different ways before the end of the year. With his speed and power, there should be some Ted Ginn type plays that can get him in the open field.
