Vest To Appear On College Football Live

vest.jpg

Reader Brett writes in to tip us off to the fact that Jim Tressel will be interviewed on ESPN's College Football Live show at 3:30PM ET. The new show debuted yesterday, and although we're working types and won't be able to catch the show live, we, like the rest of Buckeye nation, will be interested to see what the coach has to say.

After a few months of relative quiet since the debacle in Glendale, Brett sums up the feelings of the Buckeye faithful best:

After how quarantined he has kept the program since the fiasco in the Fiesta, I'm sure all of Buckeye Nation will be interested to see what he has to say about the current status of the program...

But I do think this is a smart move. There's no better ointment for healing the wound than sunlight. Open the doors and air out the closets. Then people can start to move on.

Drop a comment if you're able to catch it live.

Here are a couple of more times for College Football Live that will air on the WWL networks today, in case people have day jobs and did not set the DVR.

ESPN and HD at 7:30 pm
ESPNU at 11:00 pm.

Before ESPNU's replay, they are having a program on the new Top 150 football recruits for next year (10pm). There are 6 Buckeyes on the list, so this could help get to know those players. If you are interested in checking out the list at work, here you go.

The interview wasn't anything special, they only asked 2-3 questions, what was learned from the championship loss and a couple of follow ups, pretty disapointing actually. Still can't wait for the season to start though.

Yeah, i caught the replay @ 7:30 and much of what you would expect out of Tress. Funny comment about Herbie recruiting via proxy at the end.

It was a typical Tressel interview, but I love having him as our coach! He can give away no information and he still gets me excited for this upcoming season. I guess his 62-14 record will help out with that.

Preparation and not being battle tested were the reasons for the heel stomping in Glendale. I agree with both of those and assume the lessons were learned. I'm ready for JT to get another win streak going and get that loss further in the rear view.

Plus 1 they talked about wouldn't have helped us. We would have gotten blown out by USC too. Although the layoff would have probably been a week less so who knows.
