*%&%*$*#*%@..Oden's pop says Greg is turning pro. I know, I know, we all knew it was coming, but hearing his own flesh and blood say it is a whole 'nother ballgame. I'm not emotionally stable enough to discuss it now so feel free to chime in with your thoughts. The reality is that if Oden turns pro, Conley and Cook are sure to follow (3 piece) suit. It was good knowin' ya boys.
Today's trivia question: What is Granville Waiters up to these days? Don't cheat and click here...
Update: Mike Conley Sr. stated today that he is 100% certain Oden, Cook and Conley have not yet decided what they'll do. He also gave strong indications that all three will likely enter their names by the April 29 deadline but will not officially sign with Conley Sr. to represent them thus allowing themselves until June 18th to withdraw their names and remain at Ohio State.

I wish them all well and I think Oden will be pretty good. All I know is that in the biggest game against the best front line Oden tore it up and fell short of leading his squad to a crazy upset.
The NBA is so different that it will be interesting to see how they all do. It may take DC awhile to develop, but I'd guess jr. would play a good amount of minutes for most teams. His ball skills on off/def plus the ability to set up others being so scarce in the league should help.
By the way, I knew the trivia answer this week because I've been booking all my vacations through him for years.
Add his old coach to the group that thinks he was misused:
"Oden had become frustrated with an Ohio State offense that seemed to favor the 3-pointer over getting the ball inside, according to those close to him. In the NCAA title game, Oden shot 10-for-15 while the Buckeyes went 4-for-23 on 3-pointers."
Not so fast, Osbourne
"I talked to Greg and he told me that he had not made up his mind and that he has not talked to anyone about his decision," Greg's mother told 10TV's Dom Tiberi. She also said she talked to greg's dad and she said he told her he did not say that and that he did not use those words. Oden's father lives in Buffalo, New York his mother lives in Indianpolis.
Mike Conley's father reiterated that statement.
"These are the facts, Greg has not talked to his mom about this yet," Mike Conley, Sr. told 10TV. "I am scheduled to talk to Greg this weekend about it."
I guess Oden's dad is now implying he was misquoted...
Get some sleep dude
