Nelson enjoyed Michigan's collapse
In a finish that deserved a hearty Nelson Muntz style "Ha-Ha", Ohio State scored the last 10 points to turn a 61-55 deficit at the 3:54 mark into a 65-61 comeback victory. The fact that the game was even close is a testament to just how pathetic Michigan basketball is right now. OSU trailed much of the game due to poor shot selection (21% 3FG, 4-19) and foul trouble caused by a combo of lethargic defense and horrendous officiating. Seriously, how many touch fouls did OSU pick up at least 25 feet away from the hoop? 11W reader TLB noted at least four. No wonder it's so hard to win on the road in the conference.
Greg Oden played another so-so game but still led OSU with 16 points and 6 rebounds. It's worth noting that Oden shot his free throws right handed today making 4 of 5. Ron Lewis also finished with 16 points including 12 in the first half. Ron Ron seems to be heating up at just the right time. He made 5 of 7 shots including 2 of 3 triple tries. Mike Conley was the only other Buckeye in double figures with 11.

final score was 65-61 bucks
Had to go to my kids hockey game so I got to hear Big Daddy Keels and Ronnie on the radio for the last 3 min. They were in shock when Michigan was given that 1 and 1 at the end of they game. They were sure the guy was in the act and should have gotten 2 shots. I guess the officials made up for a terrible game against us with a bad call the other way at the end.
I hope Michigan wins a couple games in the Big11Ten tourney so we will be guaranteed that they keep Lloyd Amaker.
Good catch, Mike H. The correct score has been updated.
good catch...I was in a hurry to get some beers...musta got happy fingers.
Interesting article in the Free Press about the U-M choke. They may be more interested in keeping Amaker because of his wife than because of his coaching.
