1460 The Fan is reporting that Greg Oden could miss Wednesday night's match up with the Purdue Boilermakers. Oden's longtime best friend, Travis Smith, was killed in a car accident around 6:30pm Saturday night. Oden has left the team and is on his way to Terre Haute, Indiana. Smith was a freshman golfer at Ball State. 11W's thoughts and prayers go out to the Smith family.
UPDATE: Matta has stated it's obviously up to Oden as to whether or not he plays, however Matta said he expects that Oden will likely play.
