Breaking News: Oden To Miss Purdue Game?
1460 The Fan is reporting that Greg Oden could miss Wednesday night’s match up with the Purdue Boilermakers. Oden’s longtime best friend, Travis Smith, was killed in a car accident around 6:30pm Saturday night. Oden has left the team and is on his way to Terre Haute, Indiana. Smith was a freshman golfer at Ball State. 11W’s thoughts and prayers go out to the Smith family.
UPDATE: Matta has stated it’s obviously up to Oden as to whether or not he plays, however Matta said he expects that Oden will likely play.
