Teddy Greenstein of The Trib is reporting that Canadian rock band Nickelback put in a request for tickets to The Game.
When a representative of the rock band Nickelback requested four tickets last week, Ohio State associate athletic director Steve Snapp replied, "If you were John Lennon and you needed four tickets [for] the Beatles, I couldn't help you."
With tickets going from $500 to $4000, I'm not sure why these guys, with no affiliation to the university or the state, thought they could get in.
As for rockers in the Big House, word on the street is that 25% of the worst band in the history of the world has pretty choice season tickets.
