BRISCOE DECISION COMING, BUCKEYES AND DAWGS BATTLE

In case you missed it earlier today, Waldorf, Maryland 2015 defensive back Juwuan Briscoe made a decision on his decision date. The big day for Briscoe — and either the Buckeyes or the Georgia Bulldogs — will be January 1st. There had been some speculation that the 6-foot-0, 185-pound cornerback would make a return trip to Georgia before making his decision, but that now seems unlikely. As the news of an announcement leaked, I did some reaching out about Briscoe to see what the general "vibe" was within the WHAC about his leanings.

"We feel ok, but there's no way to know until January 1st," the source shared with Eleven Warriors. "He's a really quiet kid and not giving much in the way of an indication. Obviously with it being a dead period and him deciding soon we're just kind of on wait and see mode."

Briscoe does not have a specific time for an announcement at this time. 11W will keep you updated on that if anything changes.

WARIBOKO DOWN TO THREE

Josh Wariboko was a once popular choice to be the fifth offensive lineman in Ohio State's 2015 class, but since his official visit in October isn't a name we've mentioned much. Today, Wariboko took to Twitter to announce his final three school choices.

Now, before it gets to the point were people starting asking "Is there any chance for the Buckeyes?" No, not really. The Buckeyes have not been actively pursuing Wariboko for the last two months. At no time in the contact period before this current dead period did they make an attempt to visit Wariboko and there's some thought that is because the Buckeyes felt he was not going to go anywhere that would not offer his brother, Max Wariboko. Max, a 2016 cornerback, has four offers right now, including one from UCLA, which is the most likely team to land Josh, the country's 6th-ranked offensive guard.

GLACKIN HEADING TO IMG

A few weeks ago we told you that Buckeye commit Tyler Gerald was more than likely heading south to the IMG Academy in Florida for his senior year of high school. The 10th-ranked player in Ohio's 2016 class, Gerald is a big loss for the Sciotoville Tartans football program, but believes the chance to cut his teeth in at IMG will help better prepare him for Ohio State. Apparently he's not the only Ohio junior thinking that change in competition will help him. Jango Glackin, Lebanon, Ohio's star linebacker and the 16th-ranked player in 2016, is also headed to Bradenton. His father, Greg, said the decision is strictly business.

"He's leaving for IMG on January 10th," Greg told 11W. "IMG said they'll be able to put 30 pounds on him and will get him faster, they'll teach him the game against the best competition and will get him more prepared for college."

Glackin has scholarship offers from West Virginia, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Indiana, Kent State, Miami (Oh), and Ohio. He's currently ranked as the country's 26th-ranked outside linebacker for 2016 and the second-ranked outside linebacker in Ohio behind Delaware's Ethan Tucky.

WEBER TALKS BUCKEYE COMMITMENT WITH D-ZONE

The "D-Zone" is one of the Detroit area's best resources for prep stars throughout the Motor City. Today, one of their up-and-coming writers, Evan Paputa got a chance to talk with Buckeye commitment Mike Weber about his commitment and Ohio State. Weber goes on record about his decision and his commitment.

CAGER DECISION STILL ON FOR ARMY ALL-AMERICAN GAME

Although he's not going to end up at Ohio State, the country's 42nd-ranked wide receiver Lawrence Cager will announce his college choice on January 3rd at the US Army All-American game.

Alabama, Ole Miss, Georgia, Wake Forest, Miami and Virginia Tech remain in the mix for Cager.
