Ohio State hosted the Hoosier State's top two 2016 prospects yesterday during as Austin Mack and Auston Robertson made the trip to Columbus together. According to Mack, the Buckeyes were planning on making the trip a memorable one for his 6-foot-5, 230 pound defensive-end-friend.

I got to talk with Coach (Urban) Meyer pregame, and our conversation was basically about Auston (Roberston) because Ohio State is about to offer him.

That offer didn't happen unfortunately as post-game obligations of the coaching staff kept them from talking with the Wayne High School star. The lack of an offer (at this point) didn't hamper Robertson's experience.

"I loved it," Robertson told Eleven Warriors. "The crowd was the best part. Their student section was great."

Robertson did get some time pregame with Ohio State's head coach.

"I got to talk with Urban Meyer before the game," he said of what made the biggest impression from this trip. "Talking to him, and just watching their defense, seeing how well they played."

Ohio State's strong defensive line had another good game, but as their depth issues continue to be pointed out by talking heads, Robertson says it makes no difference to him.

"I'd have to go in and compete for playing time where ever I went," he said of Ohio State's depth. "It doesn't bother me if a position is loaded or if it's not."

Robertson, like his traveling parter Mack, got to spend a lot of time with the Buckeyes' team.

"They were all super cool," he said of his time with current players. "I loved it. I'm supposed to call the coaches today around 5:00 p.m. I'm hoping they offer."
