Torrance Gibson Names Ohio State His 'Current Leader,' Says List Isn't Change Anymore

UPDATE (4:51 PM): Per Rivals' Marc Gilver, Torrance Gibson will take an official visit to Ohio State the weekend of the Virginia Tech game. (September 6th, 2014.)

So this is why SEC bagmen work so hard to keep prospects off other campuses.

On May 5th, the Buckeyes sat at No. 4 on the list of Torrance Gibson, 2015's No. 1 dual-threat quarterback. On May 29th, the good guys slid to No. 5. On June 15th, the Buckeyes slid to No. 7, and Gibson said he had lost contact with the coaching staff.

That appeared to be an end to Ohio State's recruitment of the dynamo Florida prospect.

Yet, after some hemming and hawing, Torrance Gibson made the hajj to Columbus. He instantly meshed with Urban Meyer, and even stopped by Hang Over Easy earlier this morning.

Today, he vaulted the Buckeyes to the top of his list.

While Gibson's lists are fluid, and it appears he'll drag his recruitment out until February's National Signing Day, Ohio State has to feel good with the impression they made on him.

I'm unsure, however, of how to read his "list isn't changing anymore," comment.
