Jim Bollman coordinated some statistically dominating offenses at Ohio State, but not many Buckeye fans mourned his departure after the debacle that was the 2011 season.

Bollman washed up in West Lafayette, Ind., before landing in East Lansing. Since arriving on the Spartans' staff... the co-offensive coordinator has been good, actually!?

From Mike Griffith of MLive.com:

EAST LANSING — Jim Bollman has needed only two seasons to turn a position full of question marks into one filled with answers at Michigan State.

Rising junior Josiah Price is a first-team preseason All-Big Ten pick entering this season according to Athlon Magazine, junior Jamal Lyles was one of the most improved players of the spring, and senior Paul Lang ranks as the most versatile player on offense.

"The number one asset, they all have a good deal of experience,'' Bollman said on 'The Griff and Grinz' show on Lansing's 92.1 FM. "Josiah has caught quite a few balls the last couple of years and scored a lot of touchdowns, he does a really good job as a receiver in the red zone, and he's working at becoming a better blocker.''

Bollman is now co-orchestrating record-breaking Spartan offenses and transforming the tight end position. Not bad work for a man with such a limited playbook:
