The Big Ten distributed $338 million to its 14 member institutions in 2013-2014, but that's a number that's been dwarfed by the SEC.

According to the Brett McMurphy of ESPN.com, the SEC is set to distribute $435 million of the $455 million it raised in revenue this past season.

The total amount of the distribution is composed of revenue generated from the SEC Network, televised football, bowl games, the SEC football championship, televised basketball, the SEC men's basketball tournament, NCAA championships and a supplemental surplus distribution.

The SEC also increased the fine for schools rushing the field to $50,000 for a first offense, sources said. The previous amount was only $5,000.

That's a lot of cash.
