Well, nobody can ever accuse Charlie Strong of taking guff.

The first-year Texas coach took a "my way or the highway" approach upon arriving in Texas, and despite already trimming the numbers substantially, he's not stopping yet.

From Burnt Orange Nation:

The ninth player dismissed from the team under head coach Charlie Strong, [junior offensive tackle Kennedy] Estelle had been suspended for the last two games after starting against North Texas. The cause given for the suspension was the ubiquitous violation of team rules and the dismissal came about for the same reason.

It's Strong's prerogative to coach how he wants, but dictators are only tolerated if their iron-clad ways lead to results. So far, Texas sits at 1-2, with a three-point loss to UCLA (in which the Longhorns kicked off both halves), and a 34-point home drubbing against BYU.

If Strong doesn't get the ship righted, he too could be following the Longhorn exodus from Austin.
