Everybody of a certain age has been there: Way too angry about something trivial. Some of us internalize that rage. Others lash out in various ways.

I'd be lying if I never said I punched an inanimate object due to unadulterated rage. (Friends don't let friends play FIFA.)

While I've never broken my hand, thankfully, I'm still going to have to rethink that whole strategy after reading this horrific story from NOLA.com:

LSU freshman defensive tackle Trey Lealaimatafao suffered a serious arm injury when he punched a glass window in the team weight room, LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette confirmed to NOLA.com

Sources who were present said Lealaimatafao, a four-star recruit from San Antonio, Texas, was upset about  a disagreement with his girlfriend, and punched the window between the weight room and indoor practice facility. The sources said the glass "tore through" Lealaimatafao's bicep and they could see the bone underneath.

"It was horrific," said one witness. "Horrible to see."

Horrific to see? Hell, that's horrific just to read.
