Ohio State has added another five-star talent to its frontcourt.

Two-and-a-half weeks removed from the commitment of former Kentucky center Aaron Bradshaw, Ohio State made another splashy addition to its frontcourt on Friday with the commitment of former Duke power forward Sean Stewart

Like Bradshaw, Stewart is a five-star prospect from the 2023 recruiting class who will be a sophomore for the 2024-25 season. Also like Bradshaw, he didn’t see a lot of playing time as a freshman, but is a spectacular athlete with the potential to blossom into a star in a likely starting role at Ohio State.

The commitment is another sign of Diebler’s recruiting chops, as Ohio State’s new head coach has now landed three five-star recruits – also including 2026 point guard Marcus Johnson – in a month’s time. And it speaks to how Diebler is looking to build his roster as he’s prioritized athleticism and versatility while being unafraid to bet on unproven talent with high upside.

On a post-commitment episode of Press Coverage, we talk about what Stewart will bring to the Buckeyes in 2024-25, why this is another impressive recruiting win for Diebler and why Ohio State is still likely to add another post player with its last available scholarship.
